Question about McCulloch Garden
There is a filter on hose within the fuel tank. Use a blunted hooked wire and draw it gently through the filler hole. McCulloch recommends an anual replacement. It or a suitable substute is available at any saw seller/mechanic. Remove clean and reinstalling your muffler and spark arrestor might also be considered.
Most Stihl shops will do a tuneup for $40±. New plug, fuel filter, some cleaning, pressure/vacuum tests (I think your saw is lean, often caused by an air leak), and carburetor adjustment. Actually a pretty good deal.
If you have more questions or need additional help please reply below and I will get back to you. HTH & Good Luck.
