Question about Motorola Mobility Q

Minitor V Battery Removal...how release battery from pager? I've slid the lower lock, but not sure how to work the tab at the top of the battery/pager. Afraid of breaking it if I work it wrong.

Thanks...when you say the hinged door, is that the small tab on the top, under the belt clip? If so, I understand battery removal as:

Looking at back of pager, knobs up:

    1. Remove belt clip

    2. Slide battery lock (small slide at the lower right of pager) to the right

    3. Pry hinged door (small tab engaged on top of battery) open.

    4. Slide battery out.

I just can't tell if that little tab on top is hinged...was going to try to pry but was afraid of snapping something off.

    Thanks for the help!

,how can I remove stuck Nikon coolpixx p5200 digital camera battery

You can easily tell if the battery is upside down. There will be three brass colored contacts on the top if it is upside down. There is a yellow tab lock that holds the battery in. You must slide that tab away from the battery and a spring should pop the battery out. If the battery is not upside down, but is reversed left and right it does have a tiny bit of a wedge shape but nothing that should bind the battery to the point of damage. If the battery does not pop up after the tab is slid away (you must hold it in this position until the battery rises), try keeping the tab to the left and pressing the battery down a little, then releasing it to see if the spring will eject it. Last resort, hold the tab out of the way, press a piece of real strong adhesive tape, such as a very good duct tape on to the end of the battery and pull. I hope one of these suggestions help. Be sure to read your manual prior to using the camera again.

How can i spray cleaner into the Vol control on sport 10X

Not a good idea. The best option is canned air. To remove the case you will need a frame removal tool. Remove the battery tray from the radio (carefully, so as not to damage the drop-in charge capability), look inside the case and you will see two channels (like gutters in a bowling alley) along the inside sides of the lower portion of the radio. Slip the frame removal tool into these channels and slide it up until it reaches the little plastic ears (tabes) about midway up the case. Push up on the tool, this will release the ears (tabs), then the component board of the radio can be slid out the top of the housing. Be very careful, so you do not scrape components off the component board.
Your volume potentiometer is a common failure part on the radio. If air cleaning does not solve your problem it needs replaced. Parts for this model are in short supply, check with your local dealer if you need a new volume pot.

How to replace a power steering pump on a 1998 dodge caravan

Hi there:
Check this REMOVAL & INSTALLATION procedure...

CAUTIONThe Supplemental Inflatable Restraint (SIR) system must be disarmed before working around the air bag or SIR wiring. Failure to do so may cause accidental deployment of the air bag, resulting in unnecessary SIR system repairs and/or personal injury.
  1. Disconnect and isolate the negative battery cable from the battery.
  2. In order to disarm the air bag system, allow the SIR system capacitor to discharge for at least 2 minutes, before performing any removal procedures.
  3. Remove the screws that secure the parking brake release handle to the instrument panel.
  4. Remove the screws that secure the bottom of the lower steering column cover to the instrument panel.
  5. Disengage the retaining clip that holds the right side of the lower steering column cover to the instrument panel.
  6. Remove the lower steering column cover from the vehicle.
  7. Remove the mounting screws that hold the upper and lower steering column shrouds and remove the lower steering column shroud.
  8. Install the ignition key and turn the key cylinder to the RUN position. This is important because it will not only aid in removal of the ignition lock, but will also place the socket (in the lock cylinder housing) in proper alignment for the installation of the replacement ignition lock.
  9. Press in the lock cylinder retaining tab and remove the key cylinder (ignition lock).

To install:
  1. Install the ignition key into the replacement ignition lock key cylinder. Turn the key to the RUN position. Depress the ignition lock key cylinder retaining tab.
  2. Align the shaft at the end of the ignition lock cylinder with the socket in the end of the ignition lock cylinder housing.

  1. Align the ignition lock cylinder with the grooves in the lock cylinder housing. Push the ignition lock cylinder into the housing until the retaining tab sticks through the opening in the lock cylinder housing.
  2. Turn the ignition key to the OFF position and remove the key.
  3. Install the lower steering column shroud and install the mounting screws.
  4. Place the lower steering column cover into correct position on the lower instrument panel and engage the clip that secures the right side of the cover to the instrument panel.
  5. Install the lower steering column mounting screws.
  6. Install the mounting screws that hold the parking brake release handle to the instrument panel.
  7. Reconnect the negative battery cable.

Hope this helps; also keep in mind that your feedback is important and I`ll appreciate your time and consideration if you leave some testimonial comment about this answer.

The problem is... the features are software programable. An owner's manual would be of little help. You need to talk to the Tech or Service Co. that originally programmed the pager.
