Sitaramjava, Problem not new one!!! When lcd screen goes "black" point bright flashlight (torch) 1" (3-4cm) from lcd panel to determine if you can still see desk-top icons!!! If icons are visible, unit SMPS is in partial shutdown mode. If not visible then SMPS is in full shutdown mode. You or qualified CCFL back-lit lcd monitor technician will need to make repair to units internal SMPS/ CCFL inverter supply. Your monitor isn't any different than any other brand in it's basic design and operation!! Read my and other CCFL backlit lcd monitor technicians FIXYA profiles to see if you can repair it. 12fixlouie

Most common failures in the LCD monitors are bad capacitors (bulging top/seal or leaking) in the power supply, failed inverter circuits (blown fuse, shorted transistors, shorted/open transformers), bad lamps (poor solder connections or worn out lamps). You will need to open it up and inspect the inside, see example of failed LG and other monitors to get some ideas what to look for: http://s807.photobucket.com/home/budm/allalbums
Post back what you see inside so we can guide you further and it will help out other people in the future also.

Try the monitor on another computer. If it doesn't turn off after 2-3 seconds then that means the video card on your other computer is faulty. If the same thing happens then that means its an issue with the monitor.

If the monitor is the issue, you can always take it apart and look at the capacitors on the main board and power board. If you see any puffy capacitors, ones that look pregnant then replace them with capacitors of the same UF rating and at least the same voltage or higher. You need to have soldering skills to do this though.

LG Flatron l1515s which is giving Out of Range 64.0kHz / 60Hz and can not even give setup menu. Please help.

This is not a setting on your monitor. It is a setting on your operating system. The display settings needs to be set to a 60Hz refresh rate.

Hook up your old monitor and right click on desktop --> properties --> and then to display and advanced settings. You can then set it to proper refresh rate and plug the new monitor in.

Screen goes blank and message comes up saying "input signal out of range"

When does the screen go blank? Also what do you have plugged into it this most likely just because your input signal may be set at to high a resolution or frequency. Once I have more information I can assist you further.
Thanks,
Lee
