Washer not draining

Periodically but more receintly, consistently, my series 100 washer will leave my clothes soping wet upon completing of the wash cycle. I have to take the clothes through 1-2 extra spin cyles to get them ready to get them into the dryer. The washer appears to go through the entire cycle correctly. What could be the problem?

I have a GE front load washer that wash going through the same problems of not spinning the water out of the clothes. After numerous trouble calls I finally convinced them that it was not consumer ignorance on how to operate a washing machine. They finally replaced the main conmputer board and the door lock gear and WA-LA I haven't had any problems since.. clothes are almost dry when cycle is completed...as they should be. Be persistent until they solve the problem, hopefully before the warranty is up!!

Probably the pump filter needs cleaning.
It should be located at the bottom front of washer behind drop down cover, turn anti-clockwise to remove and clean.

What you have is a broken drive coupling. When the washer goes into spin the pump does its thing but the tub does not because the drive coupling is broken.

Wet clothes

the reason the clothes are wet is the washer is not shifting to high spin, does the washer have a speed switch(normal wash spin, high wash spin)if its not the speed switch than the clutch is bad,how old is the washer?mike

Clothes too wet upon cycle completion...

Try reducing the amount of low sudsing detergent you are using. This can make the load too heavy and won't spin out. Remember suds have 3 parts, air, detergent, and water. The drain pump is designed for water, so if you see suds during the wash, it will be worst on warm and hot, then there is too much detergent, or is not low sudsing. I know Bosch reccommends HE, however HE liquids normally are not low sudsing, just High Engery. Also the Permanent Press cycles are always a lower spin speed. Hope this helps
