I bought a an insignia 26inch dvd combo, at a best buy no remote was in the box. I went back to the store and they gave me another remote but it doesn't seem to work. Is there a lock on it?

There should be no lock, probably they gave you a remote for a different model

Here you can buy a replacemente remote for your model, however I suggest going back to the retailer and asking to replace the remote with the right one for your TV set.

I have 3 green lights clicking in the back of my tv and the tv wont come on can you please give me some assistence on what the problem might be

How long have you owned it?

When the bulb went out on mine it did something like that.( I have been through 3 bulbs now on my projector)

Or maybe you don't have the inputs in right. Try using the input/source button on the remote or unit to switch and that might get it tuned in to what inputs you have. BTW turn all your input sources... VCR, DVD, DTV, cable box...etc ON before you do that.

Another thought -- you mention 'clicking'... does it sound like clicking or perhaps a little more electrical like sparking. When sets go bad they have built "spark gaps" just like a spark plug and when they produce too much voltage it arcs across these in order to discharge the power without harming the set.

Otherwise I'd call where you bought it. Or a store that sells them.. Even decent repair shops will often give you good advice knowing you might become a customer anyway -- my central air recently went out and I called and made an appt and the guy gave me some ideas to check over... it was the fourth fuse (I only saw 2 at first) and it probably saved me 200+ on a service call.

I need a new remote for my hisense 32 inch flat screen what store or how may I get one

May I suggest instead buying a universal remote? Number one, it'll probably be much cheaper than your original remote. Number two, it can control multiple devices (vcr, dvd, stereo, satellite, cable box, etc.).
Instructions and codes come with a new remote.

Hope this helps.

You have two possibilities; either buy the original remote or look up the code for 'universal' remote for that set here:
Remotes
If you can't find the code set for the remote & TV you have, look for a code set for one of the following brand names:
Funai, Symphonic, Sylvania, Emerson, Aventura, Durabrand, ESA, Magnavox, INSIGNIA, Philips and Misakai

These are all made and marketed by Funai.

I would like to know who makes the Insignia TV? Thank you

They are made by " XOCECO" in China. The link is :
http://www.asia.manufacturers.globalsour...

XOCECO = Xiamen Overseas Chinese Electronic Co. Ltd.
They also are sold under the name " Prima ". Their link :
http://www.xoceco.com.cn/eweb/index.asp... Insignia is a brand made & sold exclusively by Best Buy Stores. It's like their "in-house" brand. Same as if you bought Meijer brand ice cream... it's their "in-house" brand. A lot of companies throw surplus parts that are sold to budget manufacturers who assemble and distribute the finished products at a low price.

Depending on which model Insignia you have your eye on, the manufacturer could be up 7 different companies. Xoceco Co. distributes them to Best Buy (they're an importer, but not a middle man because they're regulated by Best Buy Inc.)
A majority of the parts are from LG (and they also produce all the ATSC tuners for every HDTV built-in TV on the market and a plethora of other TV's), Philips-- which also has ties with LG-- and Toshiba has a share in creating the TV's as well.

The same goes with brands like Vizio, Olevia and Westinghouse. Although I would choose an Insignia over any of these brands anyway because Insignia is a proprietary Brand name for Best Buy, and Best Buy supports and services all their products. Some of those brands are built from refurbished models that were bought in bulk from service centers, clearance centers, TV repair shops and are also made from surplus parts.

Insignia is a good TV, but I would not recommend using it as a main TV. It'd be perfect for a bedroom or a kid's room.

Zenith E44W46LCD 44 in. Rear Projection (Wont Turn on)

I bought an open box unit at Best Buy, it had no remote or manual. Go to http://www.zenithservice.com/, click on owner's manuals, answer the 4 questions using drop down menus and then you can download an owner's manual and save it to your computer/burn it to a CD/print it out. If you choose to print it out, beware, the manual is 60 pages. One of the 4 questions they ask is "Product", choose Projection TV, not LCD TV. The 4th question is "Model Number", mine is E44W46LCD, is guess everyone's here is the same, duh.
For the remote, I looked in the phone book for an authorized Zenith TV repair company. I called them and gave the model number and paid over the phone. I had the remote shipped to my home address. The total including tax and shipping was $50. The remote they sent is a large Zenith mulit-function #6710v00102k. I don't know if that is the remote that would have came with the TV, it worked without having to program it first. It can control TV/VCR/Cable/DVD/Sat. I t has controls for 6 inputs, SAP, mute, Surf, Video, Picture in Picture, Ratio (16:9, 4:3, Zoom, etc), CC, Freeze, Menu, and controls for DVD and VCR (rewind, play, etc). If you can't find a place in your area to get the remote, Email me at gregg@hillscabinet.com and I'll look up where I got mine from. It came from Palm Desert, CA.
I don't know about your TV not coming on, is it plugged in? If it is, that's about all I've got. Gregg
