It's a critical hardware failure. You're better off getting it serviced. It would just confuse you if I tried to walk you trough how to find the problem.

Are they Long Beeps? Does the RED led light on the front show up? If there is no RED led light blinking, then the problem is your RAM. If there IS a RED led Light showing up, then the problem is your Power Supply.
It all depends how many beeps there were. From http://h18000.www1.hp.com/products/quickspecs/12253_div/12253_div.HTML Diagnostic
LED
Explanation Table
Number
of 1-second red LED blinks followed by 2-second pause, then
repeats:
2-processor thermal protection activated
3-processor not installed
4-power supply failure
5-memory error
6-video error
7-PCA failure (ROM detected failure prior to video)
8-invalid ROM, bootblock recover mode
I have only really come across 4 beeps = order new Power Supply or 5 Beeps = reseat the memory and hope it works
one light is for hardrive activity , the other is to show the power is on.. the flashing one is most likely the power light as most computers will tell you when thier ill....the beeping is an error code and should be in some pattern EG: Power LED blinks red twice, once a second, followed by a two second pause. Or something like that. Take note of the pattern and repost it here, then we can give you a specific area to look at.
Dear javier4017, > First ensure that any beep is coming or not > check numlock LED status glowing or not. > If numlock LED glowing it means cpu working fine only problems with monitor >If numlock LED not glowing its mean problems with cpu > if problems with CPU Find check RAM may have dusting problems.
