I have just purchased (2nd hand)a Bosch Economic Upright Freezer but it did not come with user manual. Upon opening the door I can see a set of lights which suggest that I am able to adjust the coldness of the appliance. I have a range from -16 to -32 together with a button marked "super" and an on/off button. At what temperature should I keep the frezzer for normal domestic use and how do I adjust the setting please? Many thanks in anticipation of your reply **** Mitham

did you leave it to stand with no power on for an hour. ? check the door seals are clean and the door close properly. wipe them down on the magnetic seals around the doors. plugging in the unit before it settles can leave air in system from being moved around. this makes the system work harder and gets to hot. in the line.
See if you can download a manual for it and get the recommended setting. Or just experiment with the knob and wait for a day to take the temp and adjust it accordingly.

Every time you open the door all of the cold air falls out and it has to start over in the cool down cycle, the fan stops to NOT push all of the COLD out while the door is open - you should consult a professional. Not for the freezer, for your ability to understand.

I would suspect the door seal is not making contact or has some defect in it. And that defect is probably in the top right corner of the door. If you have a thermomiter, wait until the compressor kicks in and then slowly run it around the door seal. There should be some area that is colder than the rest. If I am right, then you will need to replace the seal.

i think you should use anti rust spray WD-40 on your door after make clean it with sand paper . after clean make same colour there coz your freezer is working good so i think no need to buy new.
