Someone lent me a queeni speedi sx, i want to know how to attach the basinet

The quinny speedi should come with the adaptors to fit the bassinet (the quinny dreami) Once you remove the pushchair seat unit by undoing the clips and undoing the velcro the fastenings you then need to remove the 2covers or bumper bar(depends on model) above the quinny logo on the pushchair frame. You do this by pressing the silver buttons to release them and then they should slide off. You then replace these with the adaptors for the carrycot. These slide into position until you hear a click. The carrycot is then place onto these(again it will click on) parent facing. To remove the carrycot you then press on the silver buttons on the carrycot unit and lift off using the handle in the carrycot hood. HTH

Dreami - Black Bassinet: I've just bought a Quinny Freestyle and would like...

Yes you can. You need a set of adaptors( the same ones as for attaching a maxi cosi car seat) You remove the seat unit by unbuckling all straps and taking it off. Then you then need to remove the 2covers above the quinny logo on the sides of the pushchair frame. You do this by pressing the silver buttons to release them and then they should slide off. You then replace these with the adaptors for the carrycot. These slide into position until you hear a click. They are marked left and right. The carrycot is then placed onto these(again it will click on) parent facing. To remove the carrycot you then press on the silver buttons on the carrycot unit and lift off using the handle in the carrycot hood. HTH

How do I collapse the hood down on the quinny dreami carrycot...I've twisted the two round things but nothing happens

Hi,

If you run your hands down either side of the carry handle (on the hood) you will find a small (usuall grey) rectangular button either side. Push the buttons toward the floor, and the hood should then lower.

Hope this helps.

Have you managed to fit the carrycot already

Hi,

If this is the same as the UK model then you should make sure that you remove the hood of the pram (not the carrycot hood) as this makes life so much easier. You could contact www.mountainbuggy.com so that they can send you a manual.
When you attach the carrycot, there should be a clip either side of this to attach to the chassis, these clips snap shut when aligned correctly with the chassis.

I hope this helps.

How do i fit the raincover to my quinny speedi carry-cot?

The rain cover should come provided with your speedi dreami carrycot. These are quite tight fitting to begin with. I found it easiest to start with the hood up and put the rain cover on over this part first. Then it is a matter of stretching the cover down over the base of the carrycot. It will loosen slightly with use and become easier to fit.

Button for hood

There are two little lighter coloured buttons on the outside of the carrycot, where the hood hinges. These are near the buttons that allow the carrycot to clip and unclip from the buggy frame. They are flat on top and sort of rounded at the bottom.

Press them down (on mine they seem a bit loose, and wobble slightly as you press them). You have to press them quite hard, but should then be able to push the hood down.

I find I have to nudge the hood with my head to get it started, it can be a bit fiddly.

Hope this helps.

How do you fit the bugaboo parasol to the carry cot on a bugaboo cameleon?

I always clip mine onto the carry handle bar that goes across the carrycot, that seems to work quite well, as it is directly above the baby. Although i hardly use it at all, as the carrycot has a hood and apron that give almost complete coverage to baby.
