Option 1:
When paying for an item, after you login to paypal, look at the screen that shows you the details. Near the top right it will say funding source (From account *****8888 or something), click the button that says More Funding Options, it will allow you to change the account before preceeding. Remember paypal will always try to take any balance in their account first before using back/card accounts.

Option 2:
Login to www.paypal.com. My Account, Profile, Add/Edit Bank Account. Select the account you want and make sure you set it to Primary. Once this is done and you logout, everytime from then on it will auto-select that account first for payments.

Why can't I pay for an item if I transferred money into my eBay account?

theres no need to put money into your paypal account unless the item you are buying is over £100 .if you won the item then put money in,it wont pay it straight out. it will take up to 10 days to clear ( known as an echeque ) check your paypal and see if you have money in your account ? it should show in there. if you watch an auction worth over £100 you need to put the money into paypal BEFORE you win it

Want to set up a account to Johnafthmorris@hotmail.com send money from my account 2 his

Login to your Pay Pal. Select the "Send Money" tab. Enter his email address in the box indicated and the amount. Pay Pal will send him a notice to pick the money up. He can transfer it to his bank as long as his bank is not in a country where sending money is restricted, such as Mexico or china.

Hi.

First of all, If you want to use PayPal - make sure you have 2 Bank accounts.
1 bank account for your money to be safe (Account A)
1 bank account for PayPal issues. (Account B)

Lets say you want to buy a pair of shoe that costs $30.00 and you have $400.00 in the bank.
Keep Limits.- dont do such mistakes.

so use Account B.

If your Account B has $5 and you need $15 to make it $20 for the shoes, transfer $20 from Account A to Account B.
PayPal may have they costs that would charge.

and it is safer from hacker. they never know how much money you have in your Account A - Safest

I hope you understand what is going on. - There are charges and online transactions are no really that safe. make sure the paypal site is trusted.

This is what I do for my VISA credit Card.

I paid for an auction over a week ago and have been receiving messages from ebay that the item is unpaid .Ebay is telling me that they have opened an unpaid case against me. Sender did not originally...

1. If you paid by credit card or bank deposit, send a copy of your bank statement, which will show the payment.
2. If you paid by PayPal, the payment should appear in payment history on your account.
3. If you paid by Western Union, only the seller can mark it as paid and you don't have any power over it.

I won the bid for a York treadmill , model 3502 on Thurs 22nd

If you live in Australia-
First check with your bank if payment has gone through to sellers account. You should of receipt of payment made to show you have transferred payment. Should take 24 - 48 hours to go through but all depends on receiving bank. Also make sure you have the sellers correct details - Account name, BSB number , Account number, Bank name etc. as if it's not exactly as on their account the funds will not be transferred back to you.

All you need to do is go to your eBay account and then click the Won link on the right side of the page under Buy, You will then see the items that you purchased, scroll on the right side and then click the Pay now link. It will redirect you to the invoice page or order details. Click continue and you may be asked to pay using credit card or paypal. it's your pick.

Paypal-4029357733 $167.00 etc with 7 different orders. was these purchases paid in full? jdwa550@yahoo.com claims they were NOT paid. I received statement on my credit account they were paid.

I have not been able to use pay pal since 1/2013 and no there is no outstanding $ due to the following email. I had 2 bank accounts wiped out via pay pal and will not "advertise" one there again. SO have also QUIT eBay since that is the only way to purchase there. as you can see via the email it is not due to outstanding $ but due to limit, would not even let me use ebucks to complete this last transaction which was then handled via eBay but was no $167.00.???

Unfortunately, you\'ve hit your initial PayPal sending limit of $10,000.00 USD. That\'s why your recent payment was declined.

Your sending limit is the maximum amount of money you can send or use for purchases before you need to become Verified.
Why do I need to verify my account?

We place initial limits on all accounts to increase security and help
prevent fraud. Once you link and confirm a bank account or get approved
for PayPal credit, your account will be Verified and you\'ll be able to
make as many payments as you like with PayPal.
How do I get Verified and lift my sending limit?

  1. Log in to your PayPal account at www.paypal.com and click Get Verified at the top of the page.

  2. Follow
the instructions to link your bank account to your PayPal account.
We\'ll deposit 2 small amounts in your bank account to confirm that it\'s
    yours.

  3. Check your bank statement in 2-3 days and note the 2 amounts. Then log back in to your PayPal account and enter these amounts.
