Hi

Thanks for using FixYa. Make sure the paper is loaded correctly and you are using recommended paper. Always use a smaller amount of paper when printing multiple pages. The paper should not be damp, wrinkled, torn or damaged. Make sure the paper is against the right side of the paper support and the paper guide rests against the left edge of the paper. Check for any piece of paper stuck inside the printer because the crooked feed and then jam could be caused by a foreign object inside your printer. Unplug it, turn it upside down and see if anything falls out. If the paper jam is located in the paper support, turn off the printer and firmly grasp the paper and gently pull it from the printer. Now turn on the printer and print the document again. If the paper jam is not visible, turn off the printer. Lift the printer unit and position the scanner support between the tabs to keep it open and gently pull the paper from the printer. Close the printer and turn it on and print the document again.

If still the issue is not resolved then unplug the printer and clean the carriage rail with a moist paper towel. Now get the cartridges in the middle and move them to one side and clean and then move them to the other side and clean. Please do accept the solution if the issue is resolved or post a comment for further assistance.

Thanks
Rylee

Are you sure that while pulling out the paper you pulled out the complete paper and not few bits of it have been left torn inside. In case the paper got torn then their are chances of few bits still stuck inside due to which you are unable to get normal printouts. Open up the copier and check for any bits inside clean the roller with cotton cloth and blow the entire copier's interior with vaccum cleaner or canned air.

Prints crooked

The paper is not being pulled into the printer straight.

There are small sliders that rest next to the paper in the loading tray, you are required to push these so that they slide over and rest directly next to the stack of paper. This will guide the paper into the printer straight so that the paper does not get pulled in crooked.

Loading your paper
Paper loading tips:
● Load paper with the side to be printed facing down.
● You can print photos and documents on a wide variety of paper sizes, from
8 x 13 cm (3 x 5 inch) up to 22 x 61 cm (8.5 x 24 inch). The 10 x 15 cm
(4 x 6 inch) photo paper is available with and without tabs.
● Before loading paper, pull the Main paper tray out (use the Main tray release or
the tray grips) and slide out the paper-width and paper-length guides to make
room for the paper. After loading paper, adjust the guides to fit close to the edges
of the paper without bending the paper. When finished loading paper, push the
Main tray back in all the way.
● Load only one type and size of paper at a time in the same tray.
● After loading paper, extend the Output tray extension to catch your printed pages.
Use the directions in the following table to load the most commonly used paper sizes

Every time I try to print I get a paper jam.The paper starts loading but then goes crooked and gets stuck. Error 3 comes up on the display.

sounds like one roller is pulling more than the other, which is why it starts going crooked. You may have to replace the roller, or the entire feed assembly. not sure which.

you could also try cleaning the rollers with alcohol, ... see if that gives them a little more grip.

Every time I try to print, the printer grabs the paper crooked.

There's a leaver where the paper comes out, make certain it's to the left when printing with paper and to the right for envelopes.

You might try this before turning it over to the tender mercies of a tech:
Use a high-quality bond paper and remove any other sheets from the feed slot or tray; 'paint' a stripe of alcohol across the page; preferably pure, rubbing alcohol if you can't get other. Let the machine start to pull the sheet through but hold it so it can only take an inch or so before stopping; hold and release several times and hope that one of the stops is between pinch rollers that will yield up its load of paper fibers.
This is NOT a 'sure-fire' method but can often cure the problem for a while before the rollers load up with paper fiber again. BTW, 'bargain' paper can cause this to happen earlier than quality bond since it has more loose wood fiber that can depart from the sheet and build up on rollers.

Epson Stylus CX4600 pulling paper in crooked

Hi, please check if there is a paper jam or any obstruction inside that printer. Check also the platen lever or the left edge guide, make sure that paper is loaded correctly. Try printing again. If issue still present. Your printer needs to be send to service center.
