Might be something in the pump...its pretty simple to check....just disconnect the washer, lean the washing machine back against the wall.....make sure its stable of course and take the clamp off...its to the right...then get a flashlight or put your fingers in and check...

Forgot to mention.2 things...disconnect it of course and make sure you have a mop and some towels ready..water might come gushing out as it did with mine....also, if someone can tell me if i can post a pic and how, i'd love to do it so you can see what im talking about as far as the pump.

I have the ATR6700FS1 front load washer. It goes fine until the spin cycle. It pauses & when I hit restart it makes a noise & doesn't spin. If I hit cancel & go to the spin cycle it

Hello Deanna Lytle - Often when a unit does not spin, it is because the unit cannot properly drain and dispose of the water and detergent solution. Does the unit make a humming noise? If so, the drainage hose/pump may be clogged and needs to be cleaned. If not, the washer may possibly be experiencing an issue with the door lock assembly, faulty pump, timer or control board not communicating correctly. Because it could be a number of any one of several underlying causes, I would recommend contacting a professional to properly diagnose and repair the unit.

My LG front loading washer makes a train noise during the rinse cycle. What could be the cause?

if it is right after the drain cycle; it then goes into a spin. It then starts to fill with water for the rinse while the tub is still turning. The water entering the tub while the tub is spinning, cleans the tub of soap and the water going through the holes in the tub are causing the noise. It is normal if only in the rinse cycle.

GE Front Loading Washing Machine seems to be holding water....

The high speed spin of a front load washer should normally do a good job of getting squeezing out the water but if there is an oversudsing condition that makes it hard for the drain pump to operate then the suds and water will just stay there. First make sure there is no actual clog in the drain line then run a load with no soap or detergent and see what happens. It's always better to use a low suds detergent with this type of machine

Stackable Washer will not drain.

check if there is a low humming noise when on drain. if so there may be a foreign object trapped in pump. otherwise have you checked filter?
