This is typical fuel starvation.

Possible causes:

1. Clogged Fuel filter
2. Dirty fuel tank fuel pick up screen or tank outlet hole
3. Cracked fuel line
4. Fuel mainfold screen clogged on the side of the carb. Plastic screen is inside of the manifold where the mounting bolt is
5. Pinched fuel line

One other thing it can be is a severely clogged clogged air filter. Usually if the air filter is clogged the plugs will foul often and fuel consumption will be high with low engine power.

Last thing that can cause it is debris in the float needle.

    or....

the float level is too low.

If the float level is too low any banking from hard or sharp turns would cause hesitation or stalls.

I hve a yamaha 1995 jetski an bogs down sumtimes on acceleratiotion.

Sounds like you might have a little water in your fuel system, check the fuel filter for water then clean carbs, dont forget to check the gas tank for anything sitting in the bottom.

Hi I recently bought a Kawasaki kdx 80.I've been riding it for about a week and has been fine, but a few days ago I filled the tank with premix 35:1 I think and not saying that's what did it but since then...

Black dry deposits are indicitive of a very rich mixture. On your two stroke, rich is a asset but you can go too rich. It sounds like for some reason you're getting too much fuel.

I think I ran into something like this before on a Kawasaki 80. Check the screws that holds the choke plate inside the carb. They will come loose and allow the choke to close on you while riding the bike. If the screw comes out, it will go into the engine and cause serious damage. If the screws are loose, them out one at a time and put a drop of Loctite 271 (red) on them and reinstall them.

Check the float and the needle and seat to make sure that you don't have any trash in the needle and seat. Also check your tank vent. If the tank builds up vacuum, you could be running out of fuel. Sounds funny that you can be running rich but run out of fuel. The problem is that you run out of fuel so quickly that the carbon from the rich mixture doesn't have time to burn off.

Good Luck

330 Magnum bogs down.

NO! Check the boot between the carb and engine. Very common problem for aged rubber is non-visual cracks. Pull it off and check the boot by kneeding it and looking at it under a light.

Bogs down & spits back through carb.

Sounds like you may need a valve job. Have you been keeping the valve clearances adjusted? It's important to do that on a four-stroke engine. Check your compression to find out if the valves are ok.

Clean and dry the air filter? Go back to a stock main jet, at least to check things out? Are "O" ring seals on the main jet going bad?Partial internal collapse in exhaust (remove exhaust pipe & do a quick run down the alley), Install a new stock NGK spark plug, Be sure battery connections are clean and tight, Be sure intake manifold and carb are good and tight.

Hope this helps!
