Question about Dishwashers
The answer depends on the appliance make and model.
On most dishwashers you do not need to remove any back panel to access parts.
If there is a main back panel, it is usually removed taking apart the top panel first. In some case the sides, and finally the back. The main panel at the back, when this is not structrual, it is unfrequently removed to access parts and perform service.
Smaller panels are removed undoing a set of screws.
I can be more specific by knowing make and model of the appliance.
