It is several years old and has been very dependable. I do not find a model number anywhere. I am away from home and do not have access to the information that came with the chair. From checking the internet to is an F10-F11.

The right motor will need to be replaced. What reason did they give why Meduicare wouldn't pay for repair If the Aspire is your only chair then Medicare will pay. If you have received a new chair since the Aspire then Medicare will only pay for repair to the newer chair. You can contact a repair service other than the home Medical to get the chair fixed. You can contact Roadrunner Mobility @ 1-800-467-2668 for repair Hope this helps you

Lights scroll from lt to rt ant lights around joy stick flash fsta when joy stick is moved forward but the chair will not move

The lights indicate you are in charge mode or inhibit. Check to make sure the charger isn't plugged in. If it isn't then the inhibit function of the chair is bad and will have to be repaired Hope this helped

My chair will not move and the charge light flashes continuously, both when the charger is plugged in and when it is detached.

The VSI controller is manufactured by Penny and Giles Drive Technology. A picture of all the flash codes and their meaning can be found at:

http://www.pgdt.com/scenter/diagnostics/diagvsi.html

This is a terrific way to diagnose the problem with your chair. A technician will have a hand held programmer to read all the faults stored in the VSI controller log. This will give you an overall picture of the condition of all the electrical components of the chair, past and current faults. Hope this helps.

When i plug in the charger the led light stays on green but on the joystick the lights are moving back and forth as if it is charging but wheelchair does not move

Joy When you plug in the charger the lights on the joystick will scroll because of something called charger inhibit which disables the joystick when charging It is a safety feature. Now when you disconnect the charger turn off the chair and then turn it back on you should then get all the battery lights indicating the charge level If fully charged all the lights will be lit. If after you unplug the charger and you still get the scrolling lights then you have a problem with the charger inhibit function in the joystick and it will have to be replaced. Hope this helps you

The wheelchair will only move when the charger is plugged in. Unplug and all lights are normal but no motor actuation. thank you fo4r your help

berry boy Not alot of information but when you say all lights are normal do you mean the battery level lights are all lit up and there are no flashes. Usually when this happens the battery level is too low to make the chair move. When you have the chair plugged up the charger gives enough power to make it move. If you have a digital voltmeter set it 200 vdc then plug the 2 test leads into the 2 outter charger port holes. You should be able to read the battery level and after a full charge should be reading 25-27 volts. Hope this helps

Flashing battery life lights, quickie 525s

The chair is either in freewheel or the number of flashes will indicate an error code to tell what the problem is. Look in your users manual for error codes or contact Sunrise Medical Tech support

Lights on control panel are blinking chair will not move

The number of lights that are blinking indicate what the problem is. Visit this site to locate the type on controller on your power chair and you will be able to see that the blinking lights mean:

Try to reset your manual brake release as this is a common problem.
If you continue to have a problem, contact your manufacturer or dealer for service. If your insurance purchased they power chair for you, they may also cover the cost of repairs.
Good luck!

I think you have locked your controller, or put it in "sleep mode". Turn on the chair again and push the joystick forward, then to reverse, then forward again and release. It should fire up. Let us know if that worked.
