F YOU ARE NOT CONFIDENT & COMPETENT THEN LEAVE IT TO SOMEONE WHO IS! Empty the machine first then try resetting the fault. I have a CR02, it uses the same power PCB in the base of the machine as the CR01 (or so the silk screen suggests). It was on the final rinse when the 32A circuit breaker opened and the power went off! When the power came back on I had F11 so I replaced the 10A 250V quickblow fuse (NOT available from Maplin that is a low voltage fuse) and the machine made a nasty noise as it stepped up the power to try and spin the drum! So I removed the PCB from the rear by disconnecting the leads and unclipping the 3 standoffs. I found one of the relays (K3) had burnt contacts and the bridge rectifier (D8) was short circuit so I replaced them (with the correct parts) and checked the rest of the board as best as I could without schematics. I noticed the drum was hard to move so I emptied it as it looked overloaded (any ideas what 7kg of washing looks like?) then gave the machine a test run and now it is working fine! I certainly do not recommend doing this! The possibility of serious injury from not knowing what is going on is not worth the £92 Dyson call out. ALWAYS remove the plug from the socket and use a good meter to check for stored voltages before touching anything.
You may need to call the engineer in. The F11 fault is a fuse blown on the circuit board. Apparently this fuse failing can blow the board so Dyson change the board. The board is located at the back of the machine so you need to take the back off, unplug the board, change the fuse which you can buy at Maplins and put the board back. Then use the code found elsewhere to clear the fault. If it works fine, if not then you need a new board. Hope this helps everyone.

Hi.

To clear the error, turn off washing machine, then press and hold temperature button. Turn on machine while still holding temperature button.Release both buttons at the same time. Press soil type button for two seconds and turn off again.

F11 is No Motor Action Fault. Often caused by a blown relay or a faulty bridge rectifier.

I report a testimonial from an user that is well describing the troubleshooting and repair procedure for F11:
"IF YOU ARE NOT CONFIDENT & COMPETENT THEN LEAVE IT TO SOMEONE WHO IS! Empty the machine first then try resetting the fault. I have a CR02, it uses the same power PCB in the base of the machine as the CR01 (or so the silk screen suggests). Hi.

Reading the answer will not fix the machine. You have to check the relay board and to test and eventually replace relays.

You can order the relays from factory.

    Hi.

Re:"turn off washer and and press temperature button and turn on while holding temerature and release both buttons and press soil"

That is just the reset for Dyson, it is not the solution to your problem.

As said twice, if that does not work, then the solution to your problem is testing and replacing relays or power board. You do not need to cycle to get power board error. This is detected when the appliance is powered.

Sorry that you turned the answer upside down.

The question will be passed to a different expert.

    Regards.

F11 fault code

Hi,

Please find the steps that needs to be taken for trouble shooting F11 fault code specially if there was a power cut.

1, Power off at the machine. Do the next 4 steps within 3 seconds.
2, Press Temperature Button in.
3, Power on
4, Release temperature button
5, press Soil Type button

You will now hear the door lock release so you can get to your pants.

Diagnostic code is now displayed. You can switch the washer off and back on and the error code is clear. If you do this it will work.

I am sure it would help you to resolve the issue.

God Bless.

Dyson cro1 fault f11 came up after interupted power suply

normally error like this disappear when a hard reset is performed? did you leave the unit turned off by plugging out from wall power for one night ??

The F11 fault is a fuse blown on the circuit board.
Apparently this fuse failing can blow the board so you may have to change the board if needed. The board is located at the back of the machine so you need to take the back off, unplug the board, change the fuse which you can buy at Maplins and put the board back.
If it works fine, if not then you need a new board. Hope this helps you.
First make sure machine is turned off.
Second press & hold temperature button .
Thirdly press the on button & hold at the same time as the temperature button.
Fourthly release the 2 buttons at the same time .
Fifthly press the soil button .
Sixly turn machine off then back on & F11 message saying fault F11 must disappear.

if not try this process once again. if the error is not cleared then you will have to do as i have said you earlier.
