If using vista, I found going to START>CONTROL PANEL>HARDWARE&SOUND>DEVICE_MANAGER>
under "Human Interface Devices" Select the USB device with the error icon on it(has small yellow triangle in bottom right side), right click, select 'Disable'(icon will change) right click again and select 'Enable'
This worked for me, I cannot guarantee it will for you.
No drivers needed. In "control panel" go to "Add Hardware". Click "next" until you have the option to "Install the hardware that I manually select from a list (Advanced)", click next. Select "Sound, video and game controllers" and click next. Then select "Generic" in the manufacturer box. One model should show up called "Unsupported Standard Game Port"; select it and click next. And your done. Happy playing.

The Nyko Air Controller is meant for PC Games, so if you're using it on the 360 or the PS3 you might run into some problems. I've used this controller myself so I can speak from experience. What you want to do is download the calibration software from Nyko's website:
http://www.nyko.com/customer-support/ If you're using this to play an Emulator you will need to set up the Joystick Calibration in the settings. (Almost any game for that matter you are going to need to use the in-game settings to calibrate the joystick.)
Hope this helps.
What you need is not really driver based.................You will have to turn on the analog button (You can find it on the game pad usually in the middle. Note also that not all games will really support the joystick unless you configure it to do so in the game settings. All the best.
all games and most games for that matter do support game pad and so does the pc. Though with some pad you will need its drivers to get it working.
On the other hand games that i call "click and follow" such as rise of nations can never be played with a game pad and also the game must support game pad. For pacman i found out it supports 4 way joystick which means you should not have any problem playing with the game pad since it has the 4 way navigation buttons.
good luck with your game
This controller is completely plug and play for windows xp operating system. The NEW HARDWARE wizard can detect it over the internet and install the driver automatically in windows xp. You can download the drivers for windows 98 that will make it operate however I'm unsure what the link is although i recommend the usual, google it ; )
