Question about Sylvania Televison & Video
The little sizzle is the worry!
Capacitors on the power board have burned out. Sylvania are not cheap to repair
It is not a DIY as the problem may go beyond the power board itself. Because the little green light is on does not mean it can still have power to it. the green light is on the wall side of the Power supply The bits you want to work arfe on the other side of that contril board and are now short circuited.
Best to have it looked at by a pro as it will end up like others who tried to short ciut the $.. and found it cost more $ than they thought they would save by an attempted DIY.
