Question about Office Equipment & Supplies
You will have to get the manual. This will help you pinpoint your problem. You can contact the manufacturer on the internet, by googling them, and then emailing or calling them. This problem can be a loose ribbon cable, bad sensor, or broken part/sensor/gear, etc. You might try and check with a Best Buy near you for a copy of the manual. They have returns, and try to keep information on their products, if you happened to purchase it there. Often times, however, by contacting product support at the manufacturing level, they will know what most likely occurs, and be able to let you know what it is, and how much it will cost to fix it. This cost will make you decide whether it's time to purchase another, new one, or have the present one fixed. Good luck, I would provide the manufacturer's website, but you failed to include it in your problem description.
