You need to install the audio drivers for your computer. This can be found on the disk that came with your computer. Click here to download the audio driver On-Board Realtek RTL8100C. Or you may need to install the Onboard C-Media Audio driver it is located a third from the top. Depends on the audio controller used on your mainboard. Try the Realtek one first, if this doesn't work then try the C-Media audio driver.
Check and make sure the monitor is good by using another computer on that monitor. If that is good then the cable is good. Are you getting any video display at all? Does it start and then lose signal or no signal at all? Is there on board video or a video card installed or both? If there is both have you tried both vga connections? If there is a video card installed make sure that it has not come loose and is fully seated. Does the computer have lights when it boots up....Hard drive activity ect?
Get a TV Tuner card which will be fixed on your PCI slot (White coloured slot on your mainboard). Install drivers which comes with your Tv Tuner card according to your OS and enjoy TV by converting your desktop pc in to TV.
