Even if you could get a circuit diagram, because of the reverse power polarity problem, it would be difficult to find all the faulty components. This would be a waste of time and money unless you like challenges.
This drive is old and is a small capacity by to-days standards, if it was me I would put my money on a new larger and faster hard drive.

Bright lines in the center of the screen the height is insufficient.replacing Vertical ic La7830,and 3 or 4 condenser no good.Need schematic diagram try to search for the jungle output.tnx more power

This is the vertical deflection IC of a CRT color TV. If you think it is fried then replace it yourself. For a datasheet of this part check the following link:

http://www.rdd-tech.com/product/la7830

If the problem is the jungle output IC cxa2159s could be a problem and not start the power supply. This can cause an error code to know for sure.

I have a GX280 Optiplex computer. I need a schematic and parts location foe nps250kbj pwr supply. Supply smoked

I have replaced several power supply units. I never needed a schematic. Order the exact replacement. Unplug the cables to the hard drives, CD/DVD. unplug the power leads to mother board. Remove 4 four (4) screws to power supply being care not to let it fall on the motherboard. It is best to lay on its side to do this work!! Hope this helps. I have the same computer, actually 2 of them. UAW 974

B;owing fuses, wont power up, just smokes

Hi,

Try checking the reverse protection diode. This diode would normally be connected right after the power connector and would be the biggest diode inside. One way to verify if this is defective and causing the fuse to blow is even with the power switch at the OFF position, the fuse will still blow.

If on the other hand, the reverse protection diode is good and fuse will not blow when power switch is at OFF, then the short/defective component is inside. There would only be two (2) major components that can cause the fuse to blow with the power switch to ON, the final transistor and/or the audio IC.

Hope this be of initial help/idea. Pls post back how things turned up or should you need additional information.

Good luck and kind regards.

Thank you for using FixYa.

Need service manual or schematic

Problem is on Amp Assy. Resolder transistors and regulators that are mounted to the heat sink and replace both convergence output ICs. Replace the existing STK392-110 ICs with STK392-180 for improved reliability.

Blue alignment still does not work after IC replcaement

You are going to need to get a schematic diagram and trace out the resistors and capacitors in the convergence circuit or power supply as most of the time you dont need one and replaceing the IC's will fix it, but sometimes other things have went bad because of the defect in the Convergence drive IC's or one of the new ICs could be defective. Would not be the first time I have seen this problem. Did you buy tHe exact replacement IC? Did you use heat sink compond behind the IC on the heat sink? These two things are very important as well. If you dont have a multimeter and now how to us one as well as read a schematic, you may want to seek out the assistance of a pro. Good Luck PS please dont forget to rate this thread.
