The easiest way I have found is take the hard drive out of the infected PC, atach it to another PC bia an adapter...can be bought at a computer retailer for around 20 bucks. then go to "My Computer", right click on the listed hard drive and select scan with (your anti-virus). Also make sure you have MalwareBytes Anti-Malware tool installed and scan the other drive with that as well. MalwareBytes can be downloaded from here....
http://www.filehippo.com/download_malwarebytes_anti_malware/

This is the best way to get rid of viruses because the main Windows files will not be in use because the attached Hard drive is a slave on the other PC and therefore all files will be scanned.

Yes it is possible but it may not fully remove the virus, it depends upon the type of virus infection.
If you have not installed a virus protection program, then this makes your task more difficult.
I would try a WEB base virus removal program first, provided you can connect to the Internet. Try these WEB base virus links first and if successful then install a virus program.
WEB-based Virus Scan Trend Micro housecall
http://housecall.trendmicro.com
symantec - Norton Security Scan
http://security.symantec.com
If all fails then you need to format your hard disk and install Windows again together with the computer's device drivers and your programs.

My pc keeps restarting over and over but I don't have restore disc

Hello!

There are a lot of factors why your PC is acting that way, it could be a virus infection, hardware or software problems.

Virus Infection
- if your computer is infected or the virus behavior or capability is to keep restarting your system or PC. This could be the solution, you can install a decent virus scanner and update it always to be able to detect viruses.

Software Problem
- If your Operating System is behaving badly or some system files is missing, this can cause your PC to always restarts. To fix this is to reformat your hard drive and install OS again.

Hardware Problem
- If your RAM or one of the memory installed in your PC is defective it can cause restarting also, try cleaning your RAM's or swap other RAM to be able to determine the problem.

Hope I was able to help.

What is the virus you have and what have you done to try and get rid of it?
