You still are not treading it right...don't let it intimidate you, if you follow the manual and make sure that the thread is locked in the the top tension discs you should be fine.

My serger singer finishing touch will not make a loop... unthreaed all and rethread and still same.. is it my tension and/or dials...??

Could be the machine is out of time. Be sure to try new needles, but if the threads still do not form a loop, then it may be time to take it for service.

My needles hits the lower loop on my 16sh644 serger and the thread from my needles won't stay wrapped around the lower loop lever

it's very possible that the machine is out of time & needs to be serviced at a sewing machine shop

The machine is not giving me a clean overlock stitch it is looping at the edge of the fabric

When this happened to me, my grandson had changed the differential feed from N. If this doesn't help, cut your threads and rethread making sure the pressor foot is up. Then check your settings on the "Quick reference guide." This usually fixes the problem.

Serger stitch not forming right

It sounds like the timing needs to be reset by a sewing machine repair tech.

Babylock Eclipse SX won't catch the overlock stitch

  • the factory default settings are 4,4,4,4 and M
  • Change the needles
  • use a can of air spray ( compressed air can sold in computer stores) to ensure there is no fabric or dust under the needle plate

Maybe it's still a tension thing...
