My AC won't turn on?

The outdoor unit won't turn on. When I flip the breaker switch, it very slowly spins for a moment then stops. The blue light on the thermostat is on but not blinking like it should.

Its possible that the contactor that closes to start the outdoor unit is not pulling in and passing power. You are hearing the coil humming since it is getting control power. Also first check that breaker for outdoor unit is not tripped

What will stop the fan to stop spinning on a goodman ac unit on the outside

If you are wanting to just get it to cut off because it won't do it on it's own, you can turn the a/c breaker off at the breaker box. I have seen alot of blower fan switches go out on older goodman units and the blower stays running all of the time. Get a technician to check it for you. Good luck .

Went to turn off dispsoal and it won' t turn off, had to turn off by breaker, just happened!

If you turn the breaker back on and the unit is still on then check the wall switch.
If the unit is plugged into a receptacle unplug it and plug another ele device in to it like a light maybe and see if when you flip the switch off that the light goes off.

When I flip the manual switch it clicks but the lights wont turn on.

Manual override should turn lights ON-OFF even if timer has gone bad.
It sounds like problem is electrical.

Suspect line-up:
Test that timer is getting electricity from breaker.
Burned out bulb. Change bulbs. Spray WD-40 on bulb threads before installing bulb.
Outdoor wiring can go bad easily, outdoor bulb sockets become dirty and stop functioning.
Loose wire between breaker and timer -or- between timer and lights.
Loose wire inside timer box. Tighten screws.
Loose wire on circuit breaker. Tighten screw on circuit breaker.
Tripped circuit breaker: click circuit breaker all the way one direction and then all the way back other direction.
Bad circuit breaker. Move wire from one breaker to another same-size breaker.

Blower never stops. AC outside jammed to stay on???

You need to call someone who truely knows what they're doing. From your decription, the person you had out should not be working on units. You have a problem most likely caused be the person that installed the new motor and these units are not designed to be worked on by the homeowner. There are hazards that could cause damage or injury.

Uninstall outdoor ac unit

Go to your electrical panel where you will find the breaker for your A/C. This is the source of the electric to the A/C system. If you turn off this breaker you can then unstill your outdoor unit with out worry.

No cooling after power out, indicator lights pattern not in manual

The Mitsubishi units have to be reset by turning off the indoor units by switching the remote or thermostat to off. Then turn off the breaker to the outside unit(s). After 30 seconds, turn on the breaker and then you can turn on the remote for cool. If no lights come on on the inside units, most likely you have blown a fuse soldered on the main PC board. At this point, call your technician. A goos tech will be able to wire in an in-line fuse holder so if it should happen again, you can easily replace the fuse. If you do see a light or two come on at the indoor unit but the outdoor unit does not start after 3 or 4 minutes, sounds like you will need to call a technician. Most likely you have a blown fuse on the main PC board of the outside unit. It is not an easy one to replace. Good Luck!
