Unplug the machine. first thing is removing the cover only ever 4 ways to open a whirlpool look in back of the timer panel and ull see two screws on each side unscrew them then flip the panel that has the timer or it up.If you dont have two screws on back then you use a putty knife under each end of the timer panel.flip timer panel upwards ull see two brass clips use a flat screwdriver by using the head into the hole and moving front of clip forward.disconnect the lid switch (wire pluged into cabinet ). next open the lid and move entire cabinet piece towards you on an upward diagonal way the hole cabinet willthen slide right off.use a flat screwdriver to disconnect both clips around the pump down the bottom next use a 1/4" nutdriver to remove both screws on retaining clips that hold in motor disconnect harness from motor remove the motor by using a screwdriver to lift up the lower and upper retaining clips take motor out inspect old drive couple to reinstall use a 7/16 deep socket make sure your new couple has metal around the inner shaft of you willbe replacing this piece again within a year or two. Use the socket and knock the one side of the couple on the motor end shaft do the same on the inside shaft as well then place the rubber couple on the inside shaft and align the holes with the couple ont he back of your motor install the bottom clip first when reinstalling the motor you can do this on a diagonal which usually makes it easyier reinstall upper retaining clip on motor align gear end back side of pump with motor shaft install pump retaining clips replug motor when reinstalling cabinet look through the front end and make sure both front points are seated corretly on the frame lower cabinet in the reverse diagonal upward motion the you took it off hook clips making sure the rear plastic seats are inthe right place and push down clips reinstall timer panel screws hope this helps ya any questions feelfree to ask

How to change rear break light of mazda autozam? We are having trouble in removing the rear light.Help please. Thanks

Remove some of the casing around the whole rear lighting panel (casing) and also corresponding screws. On top ( just in the middle) of the lighting panel there is a small rectangular space and inside has a kind of circular head connected to it. Using a Screwdriver a sort of a lever, gently insert it and try to pop that circle out by pulling/lever the screwdriver handle to the direction of the car side ( ie: right light panel pulling to the right-side of the car) this will make the whole lighting panel pop out, you can turn the whole panel now and expose where the bulbs are connected to the lighting panel. Unscrew the cover and then you can just pop the broken bulb out like an Edison type of bulb.

There is an intermittent scraping sound when drum revolves on my WTA3003 Dryer. Removed top and bottom rear panel but can't see anything. Seems to be coming from rear panel middle, Not game to remove back...

It is a bit involved, but basically there are two nylon bushings near the front door that hold up the drum. The bearing at the rear seldom fails, but if you're going to the trouble of taking the dryer apart, you may as well replace them all.
Pulling the drum out requires that you remove the belt, at least disconnecting it from the motor.
There will be pieces everywhere when you have it apart, but just take good notes, pictures and put the new pieces in place and it should function well for many more years.
Note, while you have it apart, replace the belt too; no point in leaving an old, weakened belt in there when you're putting it back together.

How do i remove the top half of the back seat in a 1986 caprice. i removed the bottom half with ease but cant seem to find how to remove the top. And im also having trouble removing the door panels

There will be 2 bolts (possibly anchored to the seat belts) on both outer sides ( they may be 18mm nuts or T-50 torx head bolts). Remove them and lift the rear seat straight up, as they lock into hooks in the rear partial shelf.

Replace rear window brake light bulb

I just had to do this, and it isn't all that easy or quick. First, gently work the gray, carpet like cover loose from the area around the tail light ,(this may give you a little trouble). Once you have done this, you will see three silver nuts. These must be unscrewed. The lower left nut must be accessed through a hole next to where the trunk lid fits. (The screws are permanently attached to the lens housing so will not drop into obscurity when the nuts are removed). After removing the nuts, GENTLY work the lens housing away from the car. You may need a screw driver to unseat the housing, but just be gentle.

You will find three bulbs inside the lens. The brake light bulb is on the lower right side. Simply pull the old bulb out and insert the new one.

Just reverse these directions to reassemble the housing.
