Hello Rob; Answer what model husky below and I can most likely answer your question. I think you need to reassemble and release the chain brake. Am I correct? If I am correct I still need a model number, if not a better description of your problem and the model number.

Try compressing the spring with a Channel-lock type of pliers, hold it over the slot and use a small hammer to tap the spring into the slot while keeping the spring compressed. Good luck!

Lockout Follower bar and spring location for Paslode 900420 Nailer

you can try going to paslode.com and downloading a breakdown of this tool. The lockout bar and spring go under the metal plate on the side where the pusher spring is. You have to remove the nose piece (2 screws) and lift the metal plate. Towards the bottom there is a slot that the spring goes in and as you are holding the spring push on the back side and lay the lockout bar in place. Replace the metal plate and hold in place to ensure these parts more freely. Reassemble tool. Let me know if you need more assistance.

How do i put the nail pusher spring back in the hitachi framing nail gun

Remove all bolts holding the rails to the body of the gun (make note of the position of the parts as you take then off ). Slide out the pusher assmbly. If the spring is good (wound tightly and has the bolt hole), hold the pusher assmbly in hand and attach spring to body of gun leaving bolt loose. Slide the pusher back into the rails and attach rails to body of gun up against the bolt (snug down bolt and check spring action). Re-attach rails to gun. Some after market rails do not have the slot cut into front allowing easy install of spring (cut slot with dremel). Good luck

Won't Start, back-fires through carburetor, took off sump cover and camshaft lines up correctly with crankshaft but exhaust valve is loose and doesn't have any tension when cam lobe is on the flat side....

I once made a valve spring compression tool out of a sliding bar clamp from my woodshop the ones with the flat bar the clamp slides on not a pipe clamp because it wont let you close enough. then I ground a U shaped slot in the stationary head to allow it to slide over the valve stem then you can crank the other end to compress the spring

The chain saw (2050) starts up but the safety bar seems to be stuck in the brake position

Grab the hand guard and pull it fully back to the main top handle, it may take a reasonable amount of force as it is compressing a fairly large spring inside the brake.

The spring is so stiff that I can not switch from hold to unhold mode.

Are you talking about the brake? It is supposed to be locked back, so when the saw kicks up it stops the chain from chopping your head off. If this is what you are talking about,, grab hold of the safety bar and yank it back hard. So that it locks back. Now you should be able to let go of it.

How to install the peg perego car seat adapter on

You have to put the big bar through the wholes in the side attachments first before attaching the spring loaded bar. The big bar should be facing toward the front of the stroller.

Once the bars are all attached, the to clicky slots on the Peg should click into the small cross bar and the spring loaded bar. The big slot on near the back of the Peg should rest on the big bar.

While you have the lower spring compressed, reach behind the backing plate and turn the pin to line it up to the slot, instead of turning the spring. Good luck. Hope this helps.
