Hi Bluegrass1,

Is this new? If it is, return it to the manufacturer and get another. You should still be under warranty.
If it's old, here's a site where you can get a replacement cord if you want to try that first:

Doesn't look like Milwaukee offers any other parts for the charger. You can contact them at their website at:

I hope this helps. If it does, I'd appreciate your vote. Thanks,

Look at the color bands, they will determine the value. Last band color is the precision value of the resistor. You can find the color band values on many websites. The size of it tells you the wattage raring.

This may sound like a lazy answer but without a schematic, its going to be tough. Perhaps you know someone...or maybe there is someone here who has the same unit who wouldn't mind opening it up to get the value. Good luck.

I have just purchesed some new milwaukee cordless power tools and have pluged it into 240v when it should have been 120v .Now it wont work any idear;s

Sorry to say that you probably have fried the charger and maybe any battery that you plugged into it.

While you might get lucky and be able to repair the charger yourself, they are considered sealed units that aren't intended to be opened up for repair. My advice would be to replace the charger instead of trying to fix it. But if you do open it up, what components you find inside (transformer, caps, etc) will probably be easily identifiable by the blackened leads.

My ex-wife who was Russian, plugged my mothers vacuum into a 220v heater outlet and although I did manage to repair it, I would have been money and time ahead to replace it instead of spending the time and money to repair it myself.

Replaced ic on philips you told me about which resitors are 6.8 ohm ....

your model is 55PP9352/17 correct? If so all the resistors from R3149 - R3160 are all 6.8Ohm 1watt 5% tolerance. metal film resistors. The resistors in your upper pic 3157 and 3158 appear to be open by looking at the pic I cant actually make out the banding colors to determine what rating they are. But if your set is a 55PP9352/17 they should be 6.8 ohm. let me know the actual color of the bands in order and I will post the ratings of 3157 &3158

Identifying an electronic component

Some wide-tolerance resistors only had 2 color bands. The body is the 3rd color. It could also be an inductor or capacitor. It really depends on its place and function in the circuit.
