Question about GE Spacemaker JVM1640SJ Microwave Oven
Since the lights work, fan works and the light turns on in the microwave I don't think it is a fuse. You have lost the controls on the touch pad. With the power surge it appears that the the panel circuit board was damaged with the power outage. There is a one year warranty on this component. An authorized repair shop can replace it for you for about 120 dollars. I hope that help you out. The Part Number is WB27X10070. Roughly 60 dollars and labour is 60 dollar (1 hr)
