Question about Computers & Internet

I have very little computer experience and i have many real UFO Recordings from my video camera that i uploaded from my camera to my desktop i don't know how to encode them and post them onto YouTube. Ive tried many different systems but have failed miserably. I was told that ''Magix Edit Pro'' does the trick very well and was looking for a free download if it's available? Or can anyone walk me through the process?

I have no idea? I'm using an Aiptek Digital camera remove the full SanDisk 4GB Memory card and upload the info into my desktop into the picture storage file that's quite full, and i have several video editing programs but after i edit the small piece i would like to post onto YouTube i don't know what to do from there? Once the video clip is ready i believe it's in DVD format and that's where i go brain-dead???nothing works, a friend who knows quite a bit about video programs came over to help me and told me that he couldn't figure out why i can't post the files but i do need a program that's made specifically for the YouTube programs as of just recently. So today someone told me about the "Magix Edit Pro 16" that will make it very easy for a person that's quite illiterate in the programming field to use. But I'm Flat out "Broke" that I'm being evicted to the street very soon! Is there any way for me to find a program that someone like can use and understand as to post videos onto youtube all by myself?

Try to go to http://www.demonoid.com or thepiratebay.org you may find that free software that you're looking. Those are torrent files. So you have to have a torrent downloader.

The programs that I use are Oxelon and Real Player SP. You will need to convert your video files to either an .avi .wmv or an .flv before you will be able to upload the videos to U-Tube.

The Oxelon program works well but after you install it you have to download the codec pack below from Oxelon to run it. Also, in settings check the box that says (do not open Oxelon web page after exit) or every time that you close the Oxelon program it will open up the web browser to the Oxelon home site.

I gave you the links to both programs so that you can determine which one will work best with your system. If you require any further assistance with set up or running these programs feel free to ask.

1. Are you trying to upload to a program that only works with photos? 2. Are the videos shot in AVCHD lite? Most programs can't open it. Only works with PHOTOfunSTUDIO on a PC computer....won't work at all on a Mac.

I have belkin wireless router. How do i connect my ip cameras at work and watch it at home or anywere with internet connections.

Hi! Welcome to www.fixya.com.
Watching live video from a remote location
All you need to view the live video broadcast is a web browser and an Internet connection.
Open the web browser. Type the address shown in the WebCam Monitor Log, including the port number. Press Enter. The media player will be launched and you will start receiving a live feed. There will be some delay for buffering. To have your family and friends watch the live feed, just tell them the address and port number. As mentioned above, you may have to configure your Internet router to make your video broadcast available outside your local network.
Upload Video/ Audio and photos to an FTP Server:
With the Upload feature, WebCam Monitor can send video recordings and photos to an FTP server whenever noise or motion is detected, or at regular intervals. Storing files on a server makes for easy storage, maintenance and analysis. Storing recordings and photos on a remote server also provides extra security, since the files are safe even if the computer running WebCam Monitor is stolen.
To upload recordings and photos to an FTP server:
If Monitoring is in progress, click Monitor >> Stop Monitoring. Click Tools >> Options. On the Options window, select the Remote Monitoring tab, and click the Configure button for Upload.

Enter the name and login information for the FTP server. Check Enable Automatic Upload. Select the type of files you want to upload from Upload What. If you select Overwrite Photo Files, every photo uploaded will replace the previous one, using the same name. This feature can be used to create a web page that shows a constantly-updated image from your camera. This option is available only when Photos is selected from Upload What. Click OK, then OK again to close the Options window. Receive email notification:
The E-mail Notification alert sends e-mail with a photo as an attachment, either when Motion and Noise is detected, or at regular intervals.
To configure email notification:
If you would like to receive email at regular intervals, click Tools >> Options >> Monitoring and select After Every n. If you would like to be sent email when motion or noise is detected, click Tools >> Options >> Monitoring and select When motion or noise is detected. Check E-mail Notification. Click Configure to open the E-mail Notification Settings window. Specify an e-mail address in the From field. This is the address the messages will be sent from. Specify the e-mail address of the recipient in the To field. You can list multiple addresses here, separated by commas. If you want to include a photo with the e-mail, check the Include JPEG photos with email option. If you don't choose to include photos, you will be simply notified via email that an alert was triggered. Click OK. You can start monitoring by clicking Start Monitoring with Alerts on the main screen.
Hope this resolution fix the problem on your computer. Thanks for contacting Fixya. Bye for now.

Ok, if i record mself singing and upload it to the computer...will i be able to here me sing there or not at all???

Hi,

Welcome to Fixya. All digitals camera has a features of video recordings, however they have the difference when you try to review or watch it thru the camera itself. I have the same camera as yours, First I thought that my camera was damaged because I don't hear any sounds at all when I'm trying to view/watch my brother's gradustion day. When I try to transfer all the data on my computer, thinking that trying to re-format the camera will be the resolution for my issue to hear the sounds of my recordings. While listening to a music while reviewing my pictures on the computer, I heard a different sounds, then when I try to pause my music, I'm happy to hear that its my brother's video on his graduation.

The answer to your question if your going to upload your video on your computer, YES! you can hear the sounds of your recordings thru your computer.

Please let me know if you have any question.

Thank you for using Fixya,

Can I upload a video from a ccdtrv37 camera to my computer ? there would have to be some sort of device between the camera and the computer, I realize, as there are no usb ports on the camera

You can use A/V interface to connect the Camcorder to the Computer and transfer the recordings.
In order to use the A/V interface, the computer should be equipped with an A/V capture card which has the A/V input port.
If you doesn't have the A/V port in your Computer, you may purchase an A/V capture card to connect the Camcorder.
It will not cost more to purchase an A/V capture card.
If you purchase the A/V capture card, you can also connect any devices like VCR, Cable Box etc and capture the videos in Computer.
Please contact your nearest Computer dealer to get the A/V capture card.
If you have A/V capture card, you can use Windows Movie Maker to capture the recordings.

Can't upload movie onto computer...HELP!

Hello JKelley,
When you connect the camera to your computer using the USB cable, wait for few seconds for the computer to recognize the new member.. Now check under "My computer" ... You will have a new drive letter that represents your camera.
Double click on the camera drive letter and open it up as you normally do with other drives .. You can copy the images or videos from the drive to your computers desktop.

Let me know if that was helpful and Do not forget to rate the solution as "Fixya" :)
All the best for your Presentation.

Thanks and Regards,
Srinivas.

"little tikes- my real camera" can't upload pics

The USB connection seams to be very sensitive try pushing the USB cable into the camera firmly and wiggling it. Once the mass storage device is recognized be careful not to move the plug. The connection can be very flaky.

Good luck,

Mike

I cannot upload my movies

well if the camera is miniDV, than u will have to capture the video with the panasonic software or any other capture software (u;ll need a firewire card (1394 card)).

if the recordings are on the memory (if any) than a simple usb transfer should do the job

Would like to know if I can hook it up to a computer?

You need to have an analog capture card on your PC, so that the analog video be converted to digital, if its already on your hard disk(video data, you can record it to disk or whatever you want(share, upload etc.). But its a tricky one, you should be familiar with video formats, AVI, MPEG etc, there are cards that can capture directly to MPEG, but in order to minimize data loose, capture it in AVI format, edit, render then burn to disk. IF your familiar with PC operations, just follow the instructions of the capture card that you will install. You can do some experiments as long as you already have the hardware.thanks
