Blow Glow on Hitachi Ultravision HDTV

I have had my 52' Hitachi TV for 2 years and I am recieving a huge Blue Smear on the background that really shows up when I put it on only a black picture. It almost covers the entire screen now. Started off small now it is almost consuming the entire screen. How do I fix this problem?

Hitachi ultravision 60" LCD with red glow in center

I emailed Hitachi and they sent a new light engine to my local electronics store that they do business with. All I had to pay for was the installation which was today. I did not have to pay for the part or shipping. My tv is just like new again and the red glow is gone. I did not realize how bad it had gotten. Do not call the regular customer service because they cannot or do not want to help.
