Question about Canon (6981A002AA) for imagerunner 2200, 2800, 3300 Print Server
THe error code states that the machine doesn't sense the temperature of the fuser getting hotter. Usually this calls for the fixing film unit to be replaced because the thermistor has gone bad.
You may be able to get away with just doing an error reset. Service mode, Copier, Funtion, Clear, Error. Then reboot machine and presto.
Very often E000 is due to a sudden power outage. Possibly because the mod to the DC power supply hasn't been done (replacing a resistor with a capacitor and resister piggybacked). Worth a try.
clearing the error may not fix the fault
Press the *with a circle around it then press 2 and 8 at the same time then press *again /press copier touch button/function/clear/error/ok button then switch off m/c on hope it works

Thanks for using FixYa. Error E000 means low temp detected in the fuser unit, Faulty thermistor, lamp or PCB. Check fuser for jammed paper. It’s an issue related to the fuser unit. Try and clear the error by entering the service mode:
If this does not help, on most units you have to start looking at your Fixing Assy. or Thermistor. Make sure that you do not have a piece of paper wrapped around Upper Fixing Roller or and other foreign substance in that area.
Please do accept the solution if the issue is resolved or post a comment for further assistance.

This is mainly caused by Power Problem in cannon 3200, Change
the complete fuser assembly as one of the thermistors has gone open circuit, just
by ordering up the single parts costs the same as buying the complete thing. Also,
if required, reset the code *28* function.
