Question about Car Audio & Video
I replaced my gm delco radio Because the dispay was broken and the cd player didnt work very well. So i bought a salvage radio and put it in. Now it displays LOCKED what do i do now. The dealer wants $60 to unlock it. Any sugestions? HELP ME PLEASE.
The dealer should not charge you to do this. Call around and ask what they can do for you. The security system on these cd units is to keep people from stealing them and putting them in their car like you did ( minus the stealing part ) The radio needs to be reprogrammed to match your vin code. I would just suggest that you call around see what happens.
