Sorry to bother you, but Verizon puts me on-hold and never comes back. This is a really silly question, I know: My Verizon LG/Qualcomm phone has somehow become muted accidentally, and I don't know how to turn OFF the mute function. (I want to hear the phone ring.) Can you help? Thanks very much. :)

- That's a great idea! I do use my Bluetooth sometimes, but I haven't used it in awhile, so I'm afraid it has to be something else I'm doing wrong. Thank you, though, for offering a very sensible suggestion. :)
-   I feel silly, but I can't get my cell phone off mute! I tried the suggestion of trying to turn up volume via bluetooth earpiece but to no avail. I do suspect my problem has to do w/ the bluetooth because I never had this problem before I got it! Help!-   vickiwu
Talk about silly. This is the 3rd time typing the solution. (The Terms of Use link wiped it out too.) I had same problem by accidentally setting mute from bluetooth headset. If you have same situation, just turn volume up or down on headset. (Turning volume up or down on cellphone did not help me.) Good Luck, BeenThere

I had same problem from accidentally setting mute on bluetooth headset. If you have the headset, just use it to "un-mute" by turning volume up or down. (I tried turning volume up and down on cell phone without success.) Hope this helps. BeenThere

Okay, I have the same problem. Yes, now my headset is working. But the volume on the phone itself is still muted. If I take the headset out it goes back to the same problem. Help ?
