First when you power up the computer press F8 key then enter in enable vga mode. If you are able to enter then go to start menu->control panel->display property ->settings. Change screen resolution to 1024*768 then apply and ok. But if you are not able to see safe mode and other menu. Then open cpu cabinet . Refix RAM memory. Pull cmos cell from motherboard for 10 minutes. Reattach all connection harddrive. Open processor fan and processor remove dust from all parts. Make sure motherboard is not ground with cabinet. Remove PCI cards if any. After all above still same then change RAM then try. Let me know if you need further assistance. Thanks for using FixYa.

The following instructions are for the Emerson EWC1303/1903 tv/vcr. That's the closest match I could find to the Spongebob Squarepants 13' TV If it's actually in Sleep mode, do the following:
TO CANCEL THE SLEEP TIMER Press the WAKE UP/SLEEP button on the remote control until “SLEEP TIMER” appears. To view the time left for sleep timer press the WAKE UP/SLEEP button twice, then press the MENU button on the remote control to exit the sleep timer setting
If unsuccessful, try unplugging the TV for 1/2 hour, then plug it in and try turning it back on either manually or with the remote. Either of these should solve your problem. Best of luck to you!

Try unplugging the unit and while unit is unplugged hold the volume up button and channel down buttons down and while depressing both buttons plug the unit in. Let go of the buttons and the unit should come on in the service mode. There will be a small k on the screen. With the sharp remote press the channel up button once. This should bring up a menu that will show a lamp error line. If the lamp error is = to 5 the unit is in lamp error shut down. User channel down to highlight that line and curser right arrow to highlight the lamp error #. Hit the enter button to clear the lamp errors. Now unplug the unit and let it sit for a minute and plug back in. I hope this corrects the problem. If the unit does not come on by doing this or if it does and you do not find lamp errors the power supply pcb may have been damaged by the surge.
