Question about Audiovox NVX225 Car GPS Receiver
I use a 4GB SD card in my NVX225. One thing to remember, the SD card's only function in the NVX225 is backup your settings from within the navigation advanced tab.
However, I did find a nice HACK for the NVX225 that permitted me to install a media player. I can now play MP3 audio and compressed movies (.mov .avi etc.) on my unit. Sure comes in handy when flying cross country.

Not a solution I'm afraid, but an observation. I tried a 4Gb card to no avail. Formatted it with:FAT, FAT32 and NTFS and it still was not visible. My feeling is it will not read larger cards, perhaps topping out at 1 or 2Gb as I am currently using a 256Mb card with no problems.
Just an FYI.
