There should be a legend close to the flashing lights to let you know what the sequence of lights mean. Make sure your circuit breakers are on and if you have one of the pull out type disconnects make sure it was put back in. Let me know what you find.

LED Flash list should be located on the inside of the unit's electrical panel by the wiring schematic, and by counting the flashes in between the longer pauses should give you the diagnostic code. A continuous steady flash can also mean normal operation, and something else on the inside could be holding you out like a float switch tripped (located on emergency pan underneath Air Handler Unit If Applicable) etc.

I need wiring manual for goodman mini split.

outside unit L1 and L2 are load (input 240vac)
then you have control voltage, usually yellow and blue (24vac) this connects to some 18/2 thermostat wire which goes inside as white and red.

note: this unit may only need 24v control which is 2 wires from the inside unit and also 3 wires 2 hot 1 ground for line voltage.

STANDARD WIRING
on the inside unit you have green, white, blue and red control wires.

on your thermostat you have white, red, yellow and green

you run the wire from the outside unit to the inside unit. then run a 18/4 wire to the thermostat if wired and join the following wires.

inside unit thermostat outside unit
green------------------------green
white-------------------------white
red----------------------------red
blue-------------------------------------------------------blue
yellow--------------------yellow

I have a RUUD AC Model UPFA 060JAS, Serial # 3687 F4787 3195. My dog ripped the wires apart on the outdoor unit. Wire coming out of the house (6) are colored red, blue, white, green brown, and yellow. ...

Paul, you will need to look at the indoor unit and determine which wires from outside are connected inside. let me know. more then likley they color coded it but better to be safe. also does the fan inside still run if you switch thermostat to fan ON. if not the transformer may have blown, if yes you need to make sure you shut the breaker controlling the inoor unit off while your messing with the wires, or you will blow the transformer in the furnace

Check the transformer. There could be a chance that the transformer is out. If you mean you can manually turn on the unit by pushing in the contactor switch in then theres your problem The thermostat engages the low voltage side of the transformer sending 24 volts to the contactor switch engaging the system if this transformer is out it will not engage the contactor to turn on the system.. Also on the air handler at the door on the bottom of the airhandler there should be a small circle of clear plastic by looking inside of this circle you should see a green led . If you see a red led it will be flashing count the flashes as they are emmited and once you see the pattern they have then remove the bottom door of the airhandler and on the bnack of this door is a code that corresponds with the flashes i.e. 3 red flashes, pause, three red flashes. The code will tell you what is occuring within the system. However, If your system is not a newer model it may not have the leds as I have described. If that is the case the first part of this solution may correct the problem.

Good Luck on your repair

Unit wont start, flashing lights on indoor unit, fuse may be gone

How old is it? Can you justify spending lots of money on an older system? Sounds like a transformer issue. Sometimes if the low voltage wiring gets shorted outside via dog or weed eater it will short the transformer. But if transformer is on control. Controls are cheap at supply houses maybe not from technicians
