Take handle off and check out the inside to make sure it not striped out and on the top of the handle it may have a plastic cap to pop of to access the screw holding in in place you amy have to use a knive to get it off .

If you can't see a set screw it may have a screw in handle on top.

Moen Kleo faucet. Handle loose, removed set screw to tighten but now no water pressure. (it worked fine before inspector came for house sale)

Something always seems to happen when an inspection is due. The handle tightening operation may have affected the cartridge inside. Back off the screw and water may return. If not, the cartridge may have to be replaced.

look for a small hole in the bottom of the faucet handle,, it holds a allen type or a slotted screw for retaining the handle,, ( more than likely on a moen or Kohler its going to be a allen head,) ,, remove that and your handle should come off

I have a single lever Moen faucet where the handle is very loose and there is no button on the back side that would reveal an allen key, so I cannot tell how to tighten it back up. What should I do?

On almost all moen single handle faucets there is no allen set screw to hold handle on. They are secured by a screw located under Moen emblem in the center of the faucet on the top. You usually can get to the handle screw by prying cover off with small blade screwdriver or point of knife blade.. Tighten screw and hopefully this will fix your problem. Thank you.

There is a cap on the top of the handle which can be removed by popping it out with a knife or a small flat tip screw driver. Inside you will see a screw which holds the handle to the faucet. Tighten this and replace handle cap.

First turn water supply to faucet off and remove handle. Remove cartridge from inside faucet and replace with new cartridge. Make sure you tighten cartridge to snug. Don't over tighten.

How do you remove the handle to gain access to the cartridge. the handle is loose at the cartridge.

There is a set screw on the base of each handle, on the backside, which needs to be loosened with an allen wrench (hex-head) lossen the set screw and remove handle.

Lowes might carry them but i know a plumbing supply house does for sure. Take center caps off hot and cold handls, then screws everything else should pull right off.
