Question about Disney Pix Micro Digital Camera
You can often successfully recover deleted files from a PC, phone or camera memory card or USB Memory stick, it just depends on what's happened since the files were deleted.
When you delete files the data itself isn't deleted, just the index entry that says where the data for those files is located. The space containing the deleted files is also now marked as free space so it is available to the system for any new files to be written there instead.
If and when that happens, then it becomes too late to recover your deleted files so it is very, very important to not save any new files or data to the device concerned.
If the deleted files are on a memory card or USB memory stick, just don't save any new files to it.
One of the easiest ways to see if you can recover deleted files is to try some file recovery software. Recommended asoftech data recovery as it saved my life many times.

OK! As long as you are sure she has not
taken any new picture since then, she does have chances to get back her deleted
In fact, the deleted pictures are not completely erased off from this digital camera after the deletion. They are still saved on the memory card of this memory card. So, you could restore these deleted pictures back from this digital camera for free with a memory card data recovery freeware:
This freeware has ever successfully restored all the inaccessible photos of my friend from a phone memory card. It works really well. So, you should also give it a shot.
Note: After the restoring process, you'd better not save the restored pictures on the same memory card in case of data loss.

do not write anything to your camera's memory card, otherwise you willt re-write the files and permanently loose your important info.
Install this recovery software called Tenorshare Data Recovery.
cheap and highly effective tool to restore deleted pictures.
From inside the software,navigate/choose your memory card letter( "D", "F", "G" ... ? ) and scan the section where it says "Deleted Rrecovery" . Scan the card and Set the destination folder(folder where recovered files will be saved) somewhere on your computer.
Mac Photo Recovery Software
Windows Photo Recovery Software
WARNING:there will be lots of recovered files,do not set the destination folder as your DESKTOP,otherwise you'll end up having 100000 files on your desktop... = total mess :)

Because she hasn't take pictures since the accident, she has a big chance to get back her pictures by using a photo recovery tool.
First, download Wondershare Photo Recovery. And install it someplace other than the disk that you want to rescue deleted photos.
Second, launch it, select the disk you want to rescue in left list and click "Next" to start the automatic scanning process.
Third, choose the ones you want to recover from the list of all recoverable photos and click "Next".
Fourth, Select a folder to store the recovered photos. Click "Next" and the photos would be rescued successfully.
I feel that finding old photos is to find some valuable memories. That's significant thing. I wish you good luck.

There are some software titles that you can try and use to see if you can recover your daughters pictures. Go to the following website:
Photo Recovery Wizard is one of the programs that is sold at that particular website. Their claim is that they can recover deleted files. Some digital cameras are manufactured to behave similar to computer hard drives. When you "delete" a file it is not truly deleted right away. Rather the camers will go into the equivalent of an index page and erase the entry for those pictures. The actual pictures will not be deleted until the camera actually overwrites that portion of the memory.
Two things to be aware of; if your daughter has already taken other pictures you may not be able to recover the original files. Also, their are many other recovery programs available. You may want to do some of your own research to see if there are any programs that do a better job of recovering the files from your particular model of camera. It is mentioned on the website I gave you, and the price is reasonable.
