More than likely the AC (hydro) element is defective. Take a multimeter and carefully test for 120vac at the 2 spade connectors that the element plugs into on your circuit board. If your getting 120vac, then element is probably shot. ( element can be removed by lifting and twisting it up and out of sleeve along side of stack) be sure it's cool to touch. You may also have to remove, or reposition metal flap over it prior to removing. Make sure when testing for voltage at spade connectors, that fridge is calling for cool.

Prroblem with rv gas refrigerator Dometic ndr1062

I assume you've checked baffle distance above flame? Anything changed above fridge, as in clearance, ventilation above etc. Maybe even removed a piece of panel, that was used above fridge for vent deflection etc?

I have a dometic dm2652 rv fridge. its new and is

The DM2652 comes with an optional cooling fan to help with cooling the amonia. The fan cycles on and off as required as it has a tempeature sensor (thermistor). We turn ours off at night by removing the inline fuse (glass tube fuse 3 amp) located in your outside acces panel. The fuse is located in a black fuse holder with a re wire connecting both sides.

Dometic Rv Refrigerator cools on gas not electric. Checked electrical connections. It is 30 years old. But has seen great care.

The problem is cavitaion, to fix it, turn it upside down, I know they say never do this but trust me it will work, leave it bottom side up for about an hour then turn it upright for 24hrs, this will relieve the system cavitation and it will run normally when restarted.

Dometic rv refrigerator

Does it switch automatically to gas if so the plug may be losing voltage on the back side were it plugs in. As you say the voltage is good I would then look to the eye brow control board inside the trailer or the lower control board outside as being the issue. It is hard without testing the board to tell witch one it is.
