Question about RCA HDLP50W151 50" Rear Projection HDTV
Hello. Its probably a stuck button on the TV's front panel. Try pushing or wiggling each button on the panel. It could be the channel up/down buttons or volume up/down, menu, etc.
When there is a button that is making slight contact, it keeps the microprocessor busy attending to the command its erroneously receiving from the offending button and may not allow other functions to work when this occurs.
It doesn't matter which button is stuck, any of the symptoms you describe can happen.
