Garmin 10 second Bluetooth disconnect

I see you have the exact problem with my Garman 660 and Blackberry 8300.
It worked great out the box but started dropping connections after the upgrade to ver 4.3

What was the final fix you got from garmin

I have the same problem where I get disconnected from my Blackberry 8830 after about 10 seconds. It was working good for a short while. I tried resetting and repairing but nothing seems to work.

I have the same problem with a Blackberry 8100 (Pearl). Worked fine before the upgrade. The only solution seems to be disabling the Blutooth on the Garmin and then reenabling it when the BB Pearl is in range.

Garmin 760 is stuck on enabling bluetooth

Seems they have been having the identical problem with the 660
Here's a link to the solutions..

The 2 best suggested fixes were probably that you need to reset the garmin ( instructions at link)
Or update the bluetooth software ( Probably the best solution)

Sad that the left hand does not know what the right hand is doing but this is what happens when you have a marketing company in one country having their product made in another... :(
