Has same problem a couple of times. Took out the light box and cleaned it. Note: there is a small screen in the back of the light box that clogs fast. Also had to unplug tv a few times to reset the error message. Also had same problem that ended up being heat from the stereo receiver that was located in the stand directly below the tv. This tv is very tempature sensitive. If your tv stand is warm, remove the heat source.

Is the back of the T.V. unusually warm/hot? If it is your T.V. may be overheating. If it's not in an open area, move it to an open area to allow more air flow. If it is try directing a fan at it. If one of those helps then your T.V. might be overheating and you may need to replace the cooling fan in it.

Self powering down

You can put a small fan inside where you suspect the over heating occurs. Place it so that it blows air to the aluminum heat sink. This is probable the easiest way to fix it. I fixed TVs for customer this way before and they never took it back to me. Be carefull where you get the power from your fan.

Air flow is blocked

In the 65" TVS there are 4 or more fans One of these is not functioning Probably the one over the power supply itself This will cause it to heat very quickly and shut down in a matter of about 20 seconds.

only way to find out which fan is not working isw to remove the back.

please rate my help++++Thanks for using FIXYA

Flushes very slowly, not the "power" flush it used to do.

This type of problem is, for pretty obvious reasons, difficult to diagnose, especially when you can't interact with it. My guess is that you might actually have a blockage in your venting system. This system allows air in behind the water you are flushing to allow it to flow freely down the drain. If you have a blockage in it, the water has to pull air through the trap in the toilet, and that can lead to symptoms like the ones your describing. Are other drains in the bathroom running a little slower as well? Sometimes birds or squirels build nests in the top of vent pipes (which generally stick out of your roof) and end up blocking the air flow.

Air flow blockage

Take care of it NOW. We ignored the error (knowing we're under a service plan so we'd get to it eventually). Then last week the TV just cut out and we got no picture and the red lamp light came on. Service guy came out today and replaced the lamp and it didn't work and then called Mitsubishi. They said it is probably a very common capacitor problem on the power supply board. If you open the back and take a look you are likely to see bulging caps. Parts C9A37 and C9A38. The caps are cheap if you can find them, but the parts are really hard to find right now so Best Buy is actually replacing these for people under service plans rather than fixing them. The message you are getting is a sign that the caps are getting too hot and need to shut down to cool off... It will eventually ruin your lamp if you let it go on.

Good luck! BTW, our guy said the repair will run you about $200 if you can't do it yourself, but someone else on this board with guru status recommends a kit that comes with a CD and a manual that will help you fix this. They even give a web address to order it. If we weren't under a service plan I would be going this route...

Magic chef electric dryer

Is there power to the Dryer? If so then Dryer most likely shut off due to a air flow blockage. This could be a clogged Lint Filter, or a Clogged Air Duct Exhaust (the hose that goes from your Dryer to the outsideof your house). If there is no air flow over the Heating Element the Heating Element will OVERHEAT and the Thermal Safety Fuse will Open cutting off the power. Some Thermals will re-set after cooling down. Others have to be replaced.

Error Message

. Set shuts off after displaying the message "TV will shut down in a few seconds. Please check if the air flow is blocked." After shutdown, it may have a yellow status LED, self diagnostics indicates error code 38. To repair, replace the Lamp Thermal Sensor with the new version, part # 299P313010A. The sensor is located on the Lamp Cartridge Housing. See Service Tip VS-72B. Under rare circumstances, when a replacement thermal sensor is not available, refer to the original Service Tip, VS-72 (page 2 and 3 of VS-72B) If error 3-4 then this maybe problem:. Check to see if the lamp is on when the unit is off (in standby) if it is components on the Power PWB... K9A20 and/or K9A21 are shorted. Also, R9A02 may be open. Possible side effects ... deformed lamp exhaust duct and damaged lamp. Replace PWB-POWER part # 934C228003 and if necessary, Lamp part # 915P049010, Lamp Exhaust Duct part # 642B155010, and/or Lamp Exhaust Duct Cover part # 642B156010. See Service Tip VS-73 2. If the lamp never lights suspect the Lamp part # 915P049010
