Screen upside down

If the mouse is also operating inverted then the video has been rotated by the video software. You can fix that by going into the video setup (nVidia/ATI Catalyst/Intel) and finding the rotation feature and re-inverting the image. If the image is inverted, but the mouse moves normally on the screen, then you have a haunted PC and should run for the hills!

Motherboard DP35DP Installation Problem

You should try a regular ps/2 mouse and keyboard.  You probably don't have the USB drivers installed for the new board.  After you get booted into windows you'll be able to install those.

disconnect from power. remove case cover and remove motherboard battery/power cell. leave unplugged for five minutes the n re-insert battery and power up. All peripherals should also be switched of at the power outlet. IF,after having performed the above procedure, the fault still occurs it is probable that you need a new motherboard.

Upper sise of screen flickering problem

Technology b> A laptop's display assembly consists of an LCD panel, an inverter board and a backlight lamp. The inverter board supplies power to the lamp which lights up the LCD screen as it generates images. Light from the lamp is then uniformly distributed over the panel to create images. b> Cause b> Flickering is commonly caused by a damaged or malfunctioning inverter. Because a faulty inverter is not able to supply adequate power to the backlight lamp, the screen goes dim each time the backlight loses power. In some cases, flickering may also be caused by a faulty connection between the inverter and backlight lamp. Diagnosis b> Resolving a laptop screen's flickering problem entails correctly diagnosing the problem and replacing the faulty component. You may diagnose the problem by hooking up the laptop to an external display unit, such as a projector. If the external display has the same display problem as the laptop's LCD screen, it is indicative of a motherboard or video card problem. If the external unit displays bright, crisp images, the problem is probably caused by the backlight or inverter. b> Solution b> You may repair a laptop screen's flickering problem by replacing the inverter board or backlight. Order parts from a trusted supplier and replace the component by referring to your product documentation.

Still Doesn't Work

You needed to configure bios (F2) when you first installed the processor,

now the Bios hangs before anything can happen,  You need to remove the Bios Battery (looks like a coin on the mobo) for about 30 secs (with the power disconnected)  then re-insert the battery and power on.

you should get the same power on message as you did the 1st time (maybe with a missings settings error too but this is expected)

Enuro12 is right about legacy USB in that your keyboard should work in BIOS (setup)
