Hi, Normally you click start then right click My Computer or Computer in Win7, click properties, on the next screen click device manager top left, then you should see an exclamation mark next to the sound sound icon, open this with the + sign, right click the sound cardrealtek removed - 2_bing.gif and click update driver2_bing.gif, this should then search online, if it doesnt then right click the the sound card2_bing.gif again and click uninstall. After youve done this then at the top click ACTION and the SCAN FOR HARDWARE CHANGES, it will then search online for the latest driver, this one will work.

Thanks Mark ;-)

SOURCE: I have freestanding Series 8 dishwasher. Lately during the filling cycle water hammer is occurring. How can this be resolved

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

How do I fix my realtek speakers? They play sounds and music but while doing so the sound icon in the taskbar is showing movement from bottom to top with sound increasing as it goes upwards?

Open Device manager and right click on "Realtek HD Audio"
Select 'enable'
Right click on the speaker icon in the taskbar and select 'Playback devices' ensure that Realtek is checked as the default speaker device
Right click alongside the speaker icon and make sure they are not disabled
Use the 'Test' facility to check the audio
You may have to update the driver as well

Check that you have downloaded the correct driver. Be sure to reboot after installing the driver. Also check if the sound is mute.
