Printer offline

Depends on your OS you need find "printer and faxes" or "printer options on the hardware.

  • Open the Start menu and click on the "Devices and Printers" icon. This will open a window with a list of the printers currently set up on your computer.

  • Double-click on the icon of the printer you want to change to online. The status of the printer will be shown as either "Printer: Ready" or "Printer: Offline."

  • Click on "Printer: Offline" and the Printer menu will appear. Click on "Printer" in the menu bar and uncheck "Use Printer Offline." This action will change the printer from offline to online.

Hello thanks for using fixya
Actually your status on Facebook is as "Offline", thats why you are not able to chat with your friends and you appear them as "Offline"
To chat with your friends and make you visible you have to make your status as "online"
For this sign in your Facebook account, when your home page will open, On the left side down on the page there will be written that "you are currently offline to chat with your friends "Go online". Click on it and your status will become online.
To demonstrate it physically here given is a Picture which will surely help you out

My bf and I broke up but his name still appears on my yahoo messenger. Does this mean that he has kept MY name on HIS messenger as well?

Hi,

If his name appears in your yahoo list it is because you had added him in your yahoo list.
About knowing if he has deleted you from his yahoo list or not, this is not sure as technically you will not know this answer but few ways out to find out this.

If any of your friend has added him or you know any of his friend whom you added, get confirmation from them if he is online or not.

If he has deleted you from his list :
1. He will not know if you are online or offline as your name wont appear in his list
2. You will know everytime he is online ( Available mode ) as his name still appears in your list

If you find his name online in your list or offline, Try this to find out the truth of the Yahoo id's status by clicking on this link - Check Yahoo Status

Hope this information is useful for yo.

Tried to look for a way to view who's signed on to Facebook Chat without having Facebook chat activated. Sometimes Facebook chat is a nuisance, and just want to turn it off. This way, i can turn it off...

'Appear Offline' lets you do that! Allows you to see who's signed on to Facebook Chat without having Facebook chat activated. You can poke and send Facebook messages to your online contacts from the Appear Offline page.

How can we know that a person is online msn messenger, even if he/she appears offline? Is there any possibility to find out?

The only method I am aware of is to ask that person if they are online or not. MSN allows users to select privacy options such as "appear offline" to give it's users privacy when they do not wish to be disturbed.

Appear offline

Download Msn Messenger or Windows messenger, once you have done that and entered your email and password.. The people online appear in green and the people who are offline appear in grey. Its very simple. If this is helpful please vote for me.

My friend is on hotmail and they appear offline anytime

You can be logged into hotmail messenger and choose how you want to appear to your contacts. The 'status' optains range from:
Available
Busy
Away
Appear offline
Although you may choose to appear offline, you are still logged in can send and recieve messages. All it does is discourage contacts from sending you messages when you are busy.
