I have a Model VIZIOP50HDM. I was having issues with HDMI1 and 2 but the AV1 and 2 work ok. Replaced the main logic card and the problems persist. Discovered additional symptom as follows. If you hit the Menu button nothing happens. If you hit the Input button followed by the Menu button the Menu comes up and we can scroll through options. Also, if you hit the Volume nothing happens. If you hit the Mute and then the Volume then we can turn the volume up or down, Help, Any suggestions?

In which manual can i find Service Mode" option to restore all default settings, do a "Reset" as it were. Also, you do realize the symptoms are the same with either the buttons or remote contol. The manuals are useful but we can not find the Service Mode option to reset all default settings.

It is possible that the replacement logic control board you have purchased is also faulty. As you can see none of the buttons are working as they should. Always order the part by the part number as there can be different versions of the component in the same model. If you have done so and still these problems appear then you can be sure that the replacement board is faulty. I have seen this happen quite a few times.

Please find above, Top, you user manual, below that, your Service Manual, this is what us engineers use to troubleshoot and repair these units. You need to enter "Service Mode" and restore all default settings, do a "Reset" as it were. This at least will put you set back to the default settings and you can work from there.

Depending on the type of connection you are using it could be a Main board issue or Ethernet card failing. Make sure it is a printer issue and not a problem with cabling, IP addresses or your PC before replacing any parts. (ignore pictures FixYa is grabbing the wrong ones)

Samsung PN50C550G1FXZA clicking on and off, already replaced power supply board, main board, and main logic control board, yet the problem persists, what else could it be?

Those blinks are short circuit indication. Fault at its main digital board. Short circuited component/s at it. Contact any service technician; or the authorized service center. If you wish to get some details; check the site linked here. Pull up older posts. http://electronicshelponline.blogspot.com/ In most cases, the main board might have to be replaced. If so, a software [firmware] update too might be necessary.

I charge my battery of my Samsung Galaxy TAB Lite 7 SM- T116NDWAXFA White CT. I cannot use the phone for anything. If the charger is in it only shows a green 100% battery and nothing else.

Samsung Galaxy Tab 7 Troubleshooting

Tablet Doesn't Turn On No matter what you do, you can't get your tablet to turn on.
Press and Hold the Wake/Sleep Button

If this does not resolve your problem, read on!
Check If Battery Will Charge

First, connect your tablet to the power adapter. Hopefully the tablet will recognize the charger and begin to recharge the battery. If it does not, the battery may be defective and need to be replaced.

Faulty Display

If you determined that the battery was working, it is possible that the display is broken. If no light or images are visible, but the tablet has power, then the display may need to be replaced.
Bad Logic Board

If none of the previous solutions solved your problem, check all of the connections from the display to the logic board. If the device still does not turn on, the logic board in your device most likely needs to be replaced.

Screen Doesn't Respond to Touch Nothing happens when I touch my screen.

Screen protector/tablet case interferes with the touchscreen

Try removing your screen protector or case from the device, and test the touchscreen again.
Caution: Some screen protectors may not reapply properly.

Perform a Soft Reset

A soft reset restarts your device and does not erase any of your content or data. Begin by pressing and holding the Power key until your device turns off. Wait a moment, then press and hold the Power key to turn your device back on.

Bad Touch Screen

The touch screen may be bad and need replacement. The front panel (which includes the touchscreen and digitizer) should be replaced.

Bad Logic Board

If the problem persists, the logic board may need to be replaced.

Tablet Overheats Tablet is too hot to touch!

Reset the Device

Hold down the power button until the device shuts off. Let it cool down for a few minutes, then hold the power button until the device powers on.

Bad Battery

If the device continues to heat up, the battery is most likely defective and needs replacement. Purchase a replacement battery, and replace the old with the new.

Safely Remove Your SD Card

From the home screen, tap the Menu key, then tap Settings. Once in Settings, scroll to and tap Storage. In Storage, scroll to and tap Unmount SD card, then tap OK. You can now safely remove the SD card.

Perform a Soft Reset

A soft reset restarts your device and does not erase any of your content or data. Begin by pressing and holding the Power key until your device turns off. Wait a moment, then press and hold the Power key to turn your device back on.

Close or Uninstall Applications

In the Power Usage dashboard, tap Battery Usage. Next, tap the application you want to close or uninstall.
  • To close (turn off) an application, tap Force stop.
  • To uninstall (remove from device) an application, tap App info, Uninstall, and then OK.

Verify That Your Tablet is Running the Most Recent Software
Begin by tapping the System Updates dashboard. Next, tap Device Software, then tap Check now. If an update is available, follow the prompts to install.

Tablet Doesn't Produce Sound No audio from headphones, speakers, or tablet itself.

Bad Headphones/Speakers

Check to make sure your playback method isn't the problem. Check all speaker connections and test headphones on another functioning device. If the problem is not resolved, your tablet may be the issue.

Software

First try a full restore on the tablet to make sure it is not an issue with the software.

Bad Audio Jack

If the problem is still not resolved, try replacing the audio jack. If that doesn't solve the problem, your logic board most likely needs replacement.

I have recently bought a sony bravia model number KDL-40EX710. The input channel either keeps flicking to another input channel, ie AV1 to HDML or when on AV1 or AV2 the channel confirms itself at the top...

Your connections might be loose and the tv is constantly recognizing the connection over and over, that would explain the pop up. I would imagine the picture would be distorted somehow if that was the case but worth a try. If the problem persists after trying a good new cable then I would call the manufacture.

Model #50PC1DRA no picture but we have sound we replaced the zsus board and main logic main board and still no picture

Hi

Thanks for using FixYa. As you have already replaced the Z-sus and the main logic board then the issue seems to be with the Y-main and/or Y-sus board. You’ll need to take the back off and check for any blown/bulged capacitors that might have gone bad and causing this issue. Please do accept the solution if the issue is resolved or post a comment for further assistance.

Thanks
Rylee

Hdmi port

I have a 50 inch and recently had to have the main board replaced d/t the IR receiver was failing intermittently. Since they replaced the main board, one of the two HDMI is doing the same thing (picture, no sound). When I spoke to service they felt the issue was related to the replacement board and will be replacing. The weird thing is the picture is not quite right + no sound. Usually with HDMI it's either all OK or not OK at all. In any event, my problem seems to be the main board.
