I have 2GB SD card, when i insert it into camera, it will check and the show on screen that: This card cannot be used: How do i make it to work. What will i do. From Nwabueze Ogbonnaya

When you are sure here is nothing important on the SD card, you first should try to format it. If not possible in the camera, try it in a computer FAT 12 or FAT 16 should work.
But when you put in the card, make sure the card is not locked and the battery / memory card cover is closed and locked correct.
Everything is still in the manual.
Just to make sure you understand how to unlock the memory card I place a picture. The switch should be like on the 64GB card (up)

When i put my sd card in my camera wont turn on

The PDR-3300 works with MMC and SD cards. Your new 8GB card is actually an SDHC card. While it fits into the slot, it is electronically incompatible and will not work in the camera. You need to use SD cards, 2GB and smaller.

I need a SD card and would like to know if there are any compatable SD cards fot the Toshiba PDR-3300. Thank you.

Any SD card will work. You don't need to specify a particular brand, and speed won't make any difference to the camera (though a faster card may speed up downloads via a card reader). Just make sure you get an SD card, not an SDHC card.

Lost memory card

Why can't you use a different card? Just put it in and format the new card in the camera.

Missing memory card

In all probability the memory card that came with your PDR-3300 was:

SD 8 MB Toshiba Memory Card.

SD cards with a much larger MB can be obtained at any large Drug Store, i.e. Walgreens, CVS, etc.

At the present time, these cards, 32 MB and larger are very inexpensive.

PNY 2GB memory card

I have the same camera and bought a 4GB PNY SD card and it wouldn't work, so I read the manual :) The manual says, "SD Memory Cards having the following storage capacity can be used on your camera (Toshiba PDR-3330):
8MB, 16MB, 32MB, 64MB, 128MB, and 256MB"
Hope this helps! -Kim

Card Error message

1. Always choose reliable quality SD Cards. Toshiba Digital Cameras are tested for maximum performance with Toshiba SD Cards, Delkin SD Cards and Panasonic SD Cards. These are leading brands in the development of standard SD technology. Performance by other brands of SD cards may vary. 2. Check the LOCK switch on the SD Card. The camera can not save images to an SD Card when it is in the lock protected position. 3. If the SD Card is NEW, it may be necessary to FORMAT the card. This only applies to NEW SD Cards. If you format a card with images, all images will be erased. You can FORMAT your card periodically to maximize capacity and erase 'unseen' files, please be sure to download all images before choosing FORMAT as all images will be erased. 4. Your Toshiba Digital Camera is designed for use with SD Cards. MultiMedia Cards are similar in size and shape to SD Cards, although with close inspection you will find that SD Cards have a different 'PIN" connection configuration, are slightly thicker in size, and have a manual slide LOCK switch on the side. Toshiba Digital Cameras are not designed or guaranteed to accept MultiMedia Cards. Please be sure to look for SD Cards from Toshiba, Panasonic and Delkin, the leaders in SD Card Technology.
