I cant find any info on that model number, but with Phillips you need the chassis number as the chassis designs are changed constantly. The TLF number is for a panasonic. Try looking real good for the chassis number. It should be on the tag on the rear of the set. If its not there I have no idea on how to help you as the chassis number is how all parts are looked up on phillips. Let me know if youre able to find the chassis number on that tag.

LG 21inch CRT TV. When it plug to AC some noise come form the SMPS transformer chopper did not TV work. Please can you guess the problem.

The most logical place to start in any TV which does not turn on, is the power supply circuit - and progress from there.
Unplug the set from the wall, and open it up for inspection.

If checks in the PSU turn up nothing obvious (i.e. no burned or damaged parts) and all the electrolytic capacitors in it appear OK (none are ruptured, blown, short-circuit or leaking), the next task would be to check the horizontal/HV section; the flyback transformer might have failed and/or horizontal output transistor may be shorted. If so, replace both parts with equivalent types (if available).

Also, look over the entire chassis to make sure there are no suspect, cracked, dry or bad solder joints anywhere. If there are some dodgy joints, re-flow them. To test the repair so far, plug the set back in to the wall and switch on.
Note: a new flyback transformer, once fitted, requires a small adjustment of the screen and focus controls (usually located on the flyback itself) to obtain the best possible picture. There is a "cheat's" way to do this (without special equipment) and that is - by selecting a blank AV input on the TV, to set the "user-brightness" level all the way up, and slowly advance the flyback screen control until you begin to see a grey raster with white horizontal retrace lines, then back off the control a bit so the lines aren't visible on-screen - using any source (e.g. a test pattern or DVD) adjust focus for the clearest picture, then turn the user-brightness back down to a level you normally watch. When you are sure the job is complete and everything works, unplug the set and carefully re-fit the back cover. No further setup or adjustment should be required.

HI I WANT CHANGE name and tlf number on casio QT-2100

Hi. Casio don't give out programming information for the high end terminals. You need to purchase a separate programming manual for this model. You can find it on the net. It has the codes and tables for changing characters on the receipt. try this link:

Hi, I had a problem with my Sony CRT television.

The faint background lines are vertical flyback lines. Start your diagnosis by turning the brightness and contrast controls to minimum and view the screen in a darkened room. If you can now see a raster with horizontal lines visible then it is likely that the tubes A1 screen voltage is excessive. The screen voltage is usually within the range of 400v to 600v. Adjustment for this is often part of the flyback transformer. Check all high value resistors
in the screen and focus circuitry. Some of these reistors may be
built into the flyback transformer. As the picture gets brighter the beam current increases, this will eventually cause the X ray protection circuits to trigger shuting off the set. A fault in the video drive circuits to the cathodes of the tube will cause similar symptoms but usualy results in a predominance of one colour, ie
bright red, blue or green raster with flyback lines.

I'm trying to fix my 21 inch JVC TV, its on standby mode i detected the problem it was Horizontal output transistor, when i replace it with new one it work but after 24 days it got shorted again so i...

depending on circuit design in some TVs when flyback becomes defective then (1) only flyback gets deffective or (2) flyback & 1 transistor big in size fixed near flyback gets deffective or (3) flyback, big transistor & resistor or diodes or some times ICs will get deffective flyback replacement is compulsory + which ever components gets deffective ....... usually flyback gets deffective after 4yrs (between 4yrs to 12 yrs depending on TV brand & usuage ) in your case along with horizontal transistor replace flyback also ..................... Remove that flyback from main board ? using marker make a mark (1 dot on knob & at the same line put another dot on flyback --- these 2 dots should be in same line ) on all the knobs on fly back turn all the knobs one by one in anticlockwise direction slowly until it stops .... Then observe from the mark which you made before turning .. --- you will get an idea which knob howmuch it was turned in anticlockwise direction.... now take flyback to electronic shop & buy same type ( equivalent will not work ) the shop itself check part number , number of pins & their position of old flyback with that of new flyback ----- everything should match 100% - nothing less nothing more .... it should be exact .... check many turn all the knobs of new flyback in anticlockwise direction very very very slowly until it fix it to mainboard very slowly & carefully....don't forget to connect red wire from flyback to TV TUBE ...again iam repeating don't forget to connect red wire from flyback to TV TUBE .... Now observe mainboard carefully whether any connector is not connected connect only tv powercord & stay at a distance & switch on Tv for 2 seconds & then switch of immediately....during this 2 seconds TV gets on & led also gets on continuosly (won't blink) & there should not be any smoke or sounds on main board ...this confirms you have replaced flyback without disturbing other components & not shorted any joints..... so now again switch on tv ..wait 3 or 4 seconds ...led will be on but there won't be any picture ... Don't worry the beginning you have observed howmuch knobs on your old flyback were turned in anticlockwise direction....remember..? see your old flyback again.... Now using suitable screew driver turn all the knobs on new flyback in clockwise direction one by one very very very slowly ...untill as it was in old flyback ( approximately ) --- remember TV is in on condition ... means high voltage will be there ... bymistake if you touch any part of the tv .. you will get very severe shock.... So be very very very carefull while doing this adjustment observe what is happening on the screen - how brightness is changing ... Now switch off tv....connect signal ( antenna or dvd or cable..) & again switch on TV now depending on brightness & clarity of the picture ..looking at the tv screen again you have to turn 1 or all the knobs on flyback either in clockwise direction or in anticlockwise direction very very very slowly ..once you start doing this adjustment practically then automatically you will come to know which knob should be turned . in which direction - & howmuch it has to be turned .... But remember this adjustment is very important .. Sometimes it will take 30mins to finalise the exact position.of knobs .. so take your owntime & finalise the exact position of those knobs..then switch off tv ..fix back the tv cover .. then switch on tv again ....that's all .......100% GUARANTEE again your tv will work normally ....vishnuswamy_23.jpg

Standby relay clicks on and off continusly. Tv won't turn on. I check my diode and transistor who control the standby relay and it is fine. I also replaced the flyback and I still in the same situation....

Hi there!

You have an obvious error state on the unit. You may want to try and remove the Line Transistors to check for voltage first. In the region of 145V(between base and collector. If the set then stays in standby you may have a vertical error. Also check 5V rail to the processor and suspicious looking components like caps. Good Luck,JUS004

Tv showing blue screen with flyback lines sound ok

Flyback lines? Is the picture all white with no brightness control with faint horizontal faint lines? If this is what you are saying, the screen voltage could be bad, and if thats the case, the picture tube or the flyback itself could be bad. You could also have a bad connection on the crt socket
