I cant find any info on that model number, but with Phillips you need the chassis number as the chassis designs are changed constantly. The TLF number is for a panasonic. Try looking real good for the chassis number. It should be on the tag on the rear of the set. If its not there I have no idea on how to help you as the chassis number is how all parts are looked up on phillips. Let me know if youre able to find the chassis number on that tag.

You have a bad flyback transformer. This is a common problem that eventually goes bad in the ITC 222 chassis. You have to get the model number with the code at the end of it after the /. And sometimes you must have the numbers from off the flyback itself. Try to contact MCM electronics for the flyback at 1-800-543-4330. First see if they can match it with the model number with the code after the /.

your model uses the 270125 flyback if both wires are red. If one is red and the other black then you have the 259296 flyback.

my first instinct in this is flyback transformer. or if it is three tube projector could be a high voltage splitter lines in picture sound like what is called retrace lines ... this is another indication of a possible bad flyback. high pitch sound is another sypmpton of a high voltage flyback transformer problem. WARNING televisions generate potental lethal charge. the device called flyback is used to generate several THOSAND volts. so be carefull if you take the back of any television. along with the flyback the horizontal output transistor possible could have failed. Flyback transformer?

Its either the flyback or a regulator. But i would need the model number of your set in order to know for sure. Please reply to this same post with your model number.

I found that CP150 was bad. When looking at it, it is located on the left side board, on the right side of that board in the middle of a C shaped heat sink. When looking at the capacitor it was easy to tell that something was wrong because the top was puffed up. I replaced it with a new one (16 Volt, 2200uF) and it was working again. The part cost less than 5 bucks an took about 10 minutes to replace
