How long do the springs last on a trampoline?

The lifespan of your trampoline springs depends on how often you bounce on it. But you can do the following to help them last longer:
  • Don't overload ie let too many jump at one time
  • Try and jump in the center of the trampoline
  • Avoid landing on the springs
  • Try and buy a trampoline with good quality springs to start with.

We just bought a new trampoline for our garden. Does it matter where I put it?What's your problem?

Congrats on the new trampoline. I think you should read this article about placing your trampoline before you get started as it gives some really good safety advice about the best place to put it ie not on a hill or uneven surfaces. http://home.families.com/blog/where-to-place-your-trampoline#

Can I get a trampoline cover for my circular trampoline even though I have an enclosure all around it?

Good question - it depends what kind of enclosure you have. If yours is netting which is fitted to the frame, there is nowhere to clip the cover. But if you have an enclosure which is attached by bungee cords, you can fit a cover.

I just bought a trampoline for our backyard. One problem, I have no idea how to put it together. Can someone please help me?

Don't worry - it seems more difficult than it is. I just recently put together a trampoline for our family and found an amazingly useful how-to guide (with pictures) that really helped me when it came time for me to assemble our *****. I would be more than happy to pass it along to you.

Trampoline net

Hope this helps. The trampoline net will either have a sleeve for flexible poles to form a ring at the top or there will be at least four obvious "loops" to hang from the poles. Then you need to sew the net to secure it to the mat/trampoline itself with rope. A good idea to buy new rope to do this as it wears with use. I have replaced my securing rope with "tie-down" rope from the sporting good department. The soft nylon kind seems to wear better. To sew: use a good knot to secure it to the underside of the trampoline (spring/Loop) then simple go through the net at the bottom skip a few holes come back through the net and go down around the bottom of a spring hold. repeat all the way around.
