connect the hdmi to the tv (hdmi input 1) and to the receiver (hdmi output) you must make sure that the receiver input settings are assigned correctly. Then hook up all of your devices to the receiver. remember that the 1508 dosent do hdmi upconversion, so if you have any devices that are NOT hdmi, you need to run rca cables from the output of you receiver to the input of your tv. If you have any digital inputs coming out of your devices, i would recommend using them. your 1508 has two inputs that are assignable. If all of your devices are hooked up to your receiver, and its hooked up to your tv properly, just turn down the sound on your tv, and turn up the volume on your denon!
Hi,here is my simple solution... If
you want to listen your TV on your Stereo system thru your receiver,
** you need to connect "Audio Output " RCA jacks or "Optic cable output" of your TV ** to "AUX input "
or "TV" OR "Any input" of your receiver ( except Phone ) or "Optic Cable input" ** than just switch to
respective mode on RECEIVER corresponding your RCA or Optic connection.. . There you go..Your TV sound is on the Receiver..By this means whatever you watch on the TV (tuner, satellite , Xbox ) ,it's sound will come thru your stereo..
Hope this helps! Take care and please Remember to rate/vote and give me 4 Thumbs Up for me to continue for Helping out the Community :)
I bought a new ford electric car. I am trying to install my Sony XYZ stereo in it but it doesn't hook up. What do I do?
Ok, now we've isolated the problem in the structure of your question. Without knowing a single thing about WHAT samsung LED tv you have, nobody can really help you. Please be much more specific about the TV and how everything is hooked up and what it's hooked up to.
If you want the EQ to affect the iPod music only, you can hook up the iPod output to the EQ input, then the EQ output to your receiver's AUX input (or DAT input, or whatever you're using to listen to iPod music.
If you want the option of using EQ for other signals as well, then you hook up the EQ to the TAPE inputs/outputs (TAPE OUT goes to EQ input, and EQ output goes to TAPE IN)
If you hook it up this way, then you have to select MONITOR or TAPE MON to get the equalized signal.
Connect the Wii to your television. Then connect the variable audio output from the TV to the audio in on the monitor section of the receiver. Then use the TV/SAT input selection on the receiver and dolby prologic 2 as your sound mode.
