You can get a replacement charger from any Fuji stockist or even ebay.

    Well there's fuji themselves :-

    This ebay :- Item
number:280501281755, is a complete camera and accessories which you may be able to get for less than a new adaptor.

    This ebay :- Item
number:200459042587, is a USB connection cable, which can connect your camera directly to a PC.

    This ebay :- Item
    number:290422418459, is a battery charger.

Finally, you can use any universal mains adaptor so long as it

    1) Can meet these specifications :-

    AC100-240V 50/60Hz 16-20VA 0.2A 13W

    DC5V 1.5A
and 2) Has a plug which fits your camera.

Me, I'd add up the cost of replacing the part/parts I need and use that as my maximum bid on the camera and accessories on ebay.

I need to find a card reader for my Fujifilm S2900's media card to USB port for Windows 7.. Where do I look?

This is a great camera. I suggest uploading the photos directly from the camera to the computer via USB cable connection. The software provided by Fuji works well but is not necessary to do an upload.

Keeping the memory in the camera is safer and ultimately more reliable then switching out and back. Static discharge and connector damage can be a problem.

Keeping the photos in memory after transfer until the PC images are confirmed and backed up provides the reliability for priceless photos. After successful transfer and backup I will erase the photos from camera memory card before the next use.

The cable provided has two uses, connection to PC and connection to TV/monitor.

See page 86 and page 60,70 in the link provided of the Fuji manual.

Hope this helps?

Fuji troubleshooting

When the computer says this, it usually means something has occurred to corrupt the card, OR if you are using an adapter (such as one of the ones that holds a micro-SD to make it the size of an SD card) is broken. If you're using such an adapter, get another to try, or try it in another computer. If not, try another computer. Also, if your camera can still read the card, but not the computer, try hooking up the computer cable from the camera directly to the computer and transfer the photos that way.

Once you've transferred the photos off, have the computer go ahead and format the card (or use the camera to format it) and then see if it can read it. Some cameras are fine with computer-formatted cards (check your manual) and others, such as the higher-end Nikons, are not, and require camera-formatted cards.

If the card continues to give you problems though, I would replace it. It's difficult to damage flash memory, but not impossible, and cards on sale are cheap. Check for local sales.

How doI set up f11 on this camera

Do you mean set the aperture at f/11?

If you want the camera to set the shutter speed for proper exposure, turn the mode dial to the A position for Aperture Priority. Press the +/- button to display the shutter speed and aperture. Press cursor-up/down to change the aperture and the camera will change the shutter speed to give the proper exposure.

If you want to set the shutter speed and aperture yourself, turn the mode dial to M for Manual. Press the +/- button. Press cursor-up/down to set the shutter speed, cursor-left/right to set the aperture.

Full details are in the Shooting Mode section of the manual.

My fujifilm finepix s1600 all of a sudden is not lettin me see on the lcd screen what picture i am going to take??? i have replaced the batterys and still no show???

hi Does it mean no power at all? So then you have 50 and 50 chance repair for just brown fuse or main pcb replacement. Your local repair shop would charge around $45 to 145 depend on what they really want to charge. Thanks and best regard!

Lost power adapter with the usb connection - do i

Or you can buy an external battericharger like the BC-65. It's not cheap either but you only need one item. Instead of the USB cable you can use an external USB card reader that can take XD cards.

Problem with fujifilm xd card for camera, won't read the photos.

This should not be to hard to recover.

Unless reformatted it is likely that only file indexing problem is the issue.

Just choose a drive,
Your flash drive.
Then click the Scan button.

Hope this Tip helps you.

Did it operate in sub-zero conditions? Was it warmed back up when you tried it last? Do you have another battery to try?
If the battery is really OK then I wonder if the extreme cold could have caused something to move, dosconnect or break because of the cold and movement caused by contraction, due to cold.
If it is really dead it is not worth fooling with other than it might be woth a try to bang it around a little and see if it re-connects the broken connection. Can't hurt!
